Live in Theater Productions — Attraction in New York

We had been missing the camaraderie of social gatherings that were part of our Kiwi Partners culture before COVID. Virtual happy hours over Zoom were quite well attended by our staff in 2020. But attendance had dwindled somewhat. We wanted something fun that would draw more staff to attend.

Our experience with the Live In Theater team's production of "Murder in LaLaLand" was exceptional. The actors ("suspects", dressed in perfect time-piece costumes) were all engaging and had a great sense of humor. Our professional accounting staff all became detectives! And loved it! Solving a murder on the set of a 1950s movie. It was brilliant. The break-out rooms for interviewing suspects was an opportunity for our staff to connect with each other in groups as we worked together to solve this crime. One group solved the crime, while others... realized they missed some pretty major clues, or didn't ask suspects the best questions.

I've booked multiple events with Live In Theater over the years - in-person and virtual! I run a plan socialization and recreational events for adults with disabilities and this event is ALWAYS. A. HIT. Whether in person or virtual, this event is amazing!!! This was a great team building experience for people to work together as team, allow friends to shine in different areas, practice communication skills, and have fun - like an interactive escape the room puzzle! Sometimes the people I support have a concrete way of thinking and it could hard to be in a pretend world - the actors were SO patient, understanding, funny, and truly know how to act on their toes when they are asked a out-of-the-box question. I had many random requests prior to my event but the Live In Theater and the staff were so flexible to all my needs and said yes, no problem! I can't recommend them enough! I'm so glad I was able to support them during the challenging year. My program members can't wait to do this again...

Sabotaged was so much fun.I loved my break out group and the actors were so good at giving us clues and interacting with us. Quite frankly I ususally don't like these sort of things as they can get very frustrrating trying to get info and figure out but what was amazing is that all 4 groups came up with the right sabateur but for different reasons. Also we had fun joking around with each other and yet we took it very seriously. This might be good for Corporations for team building but for me it was just a delightful way to spend an evening and I strongly recommend this. Even the confusing bits were...
