It's nice to find a local brewery using local ingredients in their beers. They magnanimoualy permit one to bring a customer their own food if the customer wants to imbibe their beverages. One should try Thomas the Stumbling Buffalo (Barleywine). They also have local ciders, wines, and spirits on sale at their location.

Now that spring is back there are some new beers on tap. Among them is Wood Ghost, an applewood smoked ale. There are new members of the lineup that merit exploration. Word on the Street, a black IPA in collaboration with Finback Brewery has a dark brown color with a pleasant astringency.

A very cozy spot with a lot of options for seating (which I love!). Very welcoming to a variety of folks and they are seriously dog friendly. While their beers were not to my palette, I love the flight for $18 which is one of the best deals I've found at breweries nearby. You can bring in some of your own nosh, which is also great and makes the environment even better! Really can't get over how cozy the space was, felt like I could sit there for hours. I would certainly go back and now having tried most of their menu would probably stick with their West Coast IPA but the smoked lager was super interesting. I look forward to seeing what Strong Rope comes out with next because this spot...

After intensely examining my vaccination card and valid identification, the Covid police granted the ability to sit down and rest my tired feet. The aggressive scrutiny displayed by the Covid police was quite a turnoff and made me feel as if I was a Covid criminal. I’m a connoisseur of craft beer, not a Covid criminal. I wasn’t impressed with the beverage recommended by the Covid police. There are several breweries in the immediate area that I prefer...
