I recently visited Surya Store for the first time, hoping to try their Jalebi(dipped in sugar syrup). Unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disaster. The Jalebi was excessively sweet—completely drenched in sugar syrup, making it unbearable to eat.

But what truly shocked me was the sheer lack of basic customer service. When I requested a sample of the Jalebi, the lady at the counter, with absolute disregard for hygiene or basic etiquette, tried to hand me the dripping, sticky Jalebi directly into my bare hands. Are we serious here? Who does that?

It's appalling that even the simplest concept of customer service—like providing a disposable plate or bowl—is missing. This is precisely the problem with some desi businesses: they believe running a store is just about selling products without any focus on customer experience or basic manners.

I would give zero stars if I could. Had the most horrible experience at this place with the owner himself. I placed an order online and it was paid for. My mom went inside to pick up and confirmed the name on the order and the order details after which she was given the food. As my mom came out of the store, the owner aggressively followed her to our car and accused her of stealing food. He had not confirmed with his staff and just assumed that my mom walked out of the place without paying. Even after telling him it was paid for, he continued to accuse us. His tone was aggressive and rude and he never apologized for his ridiculous behavior. I have never had such a horrific customer service experience before. We have had a similar incident at this place with the same person and thought to give this place the benefit of the doubt. but clearly, this place does not deserve that. No respect for customers. DO NOT recommend this...

Good place for Indian food. Great food, Vegetarian, Nice south indian food, reasonably priced, Nice prontha, quantity is good, sweets are fine, its neat and clean, staff is nice, owners are nice.......... everything was good until Paneer pakoda!!!

Man the worst Paneer Pakoda in town. I thought Usha made the worst, but wait until you try Sureya’s. I had it after 30-40 min when i got home and ohhh boy, it was like eating tiny rocks and pebbles. Really disappointed. Way toooo much batter on the pakoda and they get stiff really fast. Can’t chew them after few mins. Check the pic. Just a quick suggestion to the cook, please try Haldirams frozen Paneer pakoda. Now if a frozen pakoda packed 1-3 months ago can be this soft and taste this good, why your fresh Pakoda is so disappointing after 30-40mins?? Again everything...
