If I could give no star at all I would've gave 0 star. Went for lunch today with husband and son and ordered two butter chicken, one with naan, another with rice. And my son ordered chicken pulav. During order we said maybe one chicken wrap then within a second we said ok no wrap, cancel that. When we were waiting we've given the chicken wrap. We said we didn't order the wrap, but we were told they can't cancel. The manager was not there so waiter can't cancel. We were like ok, let's have that. Then they brought out our order. Naans were burnt. Ordered rice with one butter chicken but didn't serve me rice and I didn't feel like asking again as the waiter seemed confused and maybe he has language barrier or something. My son's chicken pulav 's chicken were also burnt. Food were very spicy, I mean we eat spicy but these were different level of spicy. Decoration is ok. Bathroom is clean. But staff is unprofessional and unskilled. They were passing by without asking if everything was ok. My suggestion would be train your cashiers or the people who take orders because if you make mistakes there's a problem. I will not return to...
Read moreCame here for a work dinner/birthday celebration and was blown away by our experience! The restaurant’s interior was very cute and gave a modern desi vibe. One of my coworkers felt like she had been transported to mumbai! There were around 12 of us and we were all pleased with our experience. The employees and manager were very accommodating and made amazing recommendations regarding the food. We started with their samosa chaat, pani puri and a variety of beverages! Our absolute favorites were the mango mastani and rajwadi lassi (you HAVE to get these, trust me) We ordered so many different sandwiches off the menu and a few of us got two of the curries! The presentation of the sandwiches were so cute and they give big portions at affordable prices. They offer veggie options and chicken dishes which are halal for all my muslim foodies out there!!! We ended the night celebrating the birthday of our coworker and the manager was kind enough to give us a lighter for our candles and all the employees ended up singing happy birthday with us! Overall, we had an amazing evening and will most definitely...
Read more"I had been planning to take my family, visiting from India, out for dinner, but I was unsure of where to go. Suddenly, I decided on a quick bite at Egholic Indian & Egg Sandwich & More, a place I had previously tried and enjoyed. I ordered two sandwiches, the Amdavadi touch Sandwich and Paneer Chat Sandwich, both with an Indian base soda. The Amdavadi Sandwich, named after the city of Ahmedabad in India, was a delightful reminder of the city's love for spicy herbs and curry flavors.
I had planned to save some for my family to take out, but unfortunately, there was none left! I ended up ordering extra for them, and I'm glad I did. The atmosphere was great, and I was lucky to get a discount when I asked. As a business owner, I understand the importance of supporting local establishments. I would highly recommend Egholic to people living in Belrose, Floral Park, New Hyde Park, and surrounding areas. They offer a variety of chicken and egg sandwiches, as well as delicious Indian tea. It's a great spot for meetings, parties, or celebrations, and I wouldn't hesitate to use it for any...
