This place has the tastiest, freshest sushi. The spicy tuna flavor is spot on, no other place makes it that good. All their other fish and rolls are amazing. I have been eating at this spot since it opened over 15 years ago, and there were years where I would dine here almost every weekend during college… and the freshness, taste and quality has always been consistent and amazing, I was never disappointed. Now that it’s winter, I highly recommend getting the cozy hot udon soup. Their miso soup is perfect too, the yummiest miso soup out of any sushi place I ever tried and I have tried many. I unfortunately moved far so I still drive all the way out here to get sushi. The owners are so sweet, and I always recommend this place to everyone.

posting the up to date menus since everything else posted is out of date. i think it's fine, but I don't really understand the super glowing reviews posted here and elsewhere online (best sushi in forest hills, etc). some special rolls are good and innovative, but you can find some unique rolls at many of the larger or upscale sushi restaurants. for the normal rolls, they were fine, but i didn't find them better than the average cheaper sushi place. over all, i found it somewhat overpriced for what i got and i don't see myself returning often.

Decided to check out this local sushi spot on Austin St. after noticing the steady foot traffic. It’s a small place with just two tables, but the sushi is made fresh on-site. Some rolls were delicious, while others could use a bit more flavor—but overall, it’s a solid option for what and where it is. Don’t expect a fancy presentation or upscale atmosphere—just simple, friendly service and satisfying sushi.

Have been here a few times and it's now become my go-to after my haircut nearby.

I recommend ordering ahead as one time I came on a Friday evening and was told the wait for a take-out dish would be over 1 hour. That being said, my most recent visit was a Thursday evening and the takeout was almost immediate. The spot itself is fairly small so really lends itself more to takeout than dining in.

The menu has a TON of options. I usually stick to the combo boxes or the generic rolls because when you venture to the more specialized rolls things get to be a bit expensive. Not necessarily out of the norm expensive and pretty typical of such sushi places.

The rolls I've gotten have always had a nice consistency in how well they've been prepared. Most recently, went with the Alaskan roll and the spicy tuna roll, both of which were standard. Fish felt fresh, as did the other ingredients. I do wish there had been a skosh more wasabi given.

The service is great. The front counter people are always so nice. This most recent time, I had told her I would be back in a certain time period and she kept my food in the refrigerated portion of the restaurant while waiting for me to return, which I super appreciated.

Parking on Austin St is super hit or miss. You can usually find SOMETHING but it may take...

Came here a few months ago and was pleasantly surprised at how delicious their sushi is.

I have had their take out sushi, usually spicy tuna rolls, and never found it good enough to want to dine in. Their take out rolls tasted fresh but had scallions in them that after sitting out for a while, make the spice tuna have an oniony taste.

But I decided to give them a try and dine in

Their sushi is amazing, fresh, melt in your mouth good.

My boyfriend and I ordered six rolls. 2 spicy tuna, 1 spicy tuna with mango, 1 eel avocado... and the rest I can't remember. Freshly made Spicy Tuna is knock your socks off good. The rolls also came out in lightening speed, I was so surprised how fast they made them. I also wanted to point out that their version of "crunchy" being added to their rolls, is something with a crunch like consistency being added to the rice on the outside of the roll.

The food was SO good that I am sad it took me so long to eat it.... If the owner is reading this, I suggest that maybe you take the scallions out of the rolls that are being placed for take out so they don't get an...

Sushi Time's online presence is a mess, so I decided to order takeout. A sushi combo box and gyoza. I got my food after a 10 minute wait.

They packed the sushi nicely and there were plenty of napkins and soy sauce packets in the bag. They forgot the spoon for the miso soup that came with the combo box.

The sushi was great and went well with the spicy mayo I ordered. The portions were small, however. In fact, each individual piece of maki, nigiri, and sashimi was smaller than they are everywhere else.

The side salad came with sauce (ginger I think) and was probably the best plain salad I've had at a sushi place, but it's hard to get excited about a plain salad side. The option to get a side of rice or something else instead would have been nice.

The gyoza was good, but it was slightly bland.

The containers they use are made of cheap, non-microwave-safe plastic (#6), although you're not likely to have leftovers.

Not a bad choice, but you can probably find better places nearby, especially if you're...
