SVG Caribbean Bakery - Fresh Made Saltfish Patties & Caribbean Drinks — Restaurant in New York

Needed sweet treats for a staff holiday get together. Decided to take a cultural approach and showed up at this bakery about after 7pm. It was closed despite their google listing saying that they’re open until 9:30pm. I called and explained what I needed and was let in. They’d already packed away most of their offerings but I was able to get some coconut rolls/tarts, rock cakes, and some peanut and coconut treats. The gentleman was very patient and attentive…I wasn’t rushed at all despite the bakery being closed. Great quality customer service. The staff enjoyed the treats. I’ll return some other stuff. Highly recommended...

SVG Caribbean Bakery is by far the best in NY. On my many visits to New York, I must return back to Montreal with my orders of currant rolls, red belly, coconut rolls and my penny bread freshly baked everyday and the taste authenticity in every bite. Oh my gosh! Did I forget to mentioned the breadfruit with saltfish and my mouth watering Saltfish patties Yum, Yum.....that is to die for! Can't get enough of those crunchy delicious treats. Continues to exceed expectations. I wish you can deliver to Canada 🇨🇦 awaiting for that day to come.🤞 Great service with a smile...polite owners and staffs. Keep up the great work 👍...

We went early on Sunday to try out this bakery. There were already some people inside waiting but it did not take long for us to order. The person at the counter was friendly and greeted us with a smile! We got some of saltfish pattie to try and they were amazing please get one when you’re there. They also have fresh juice for sale with different options. We got the ginger juice which was strong on the ginger which I loved. We also got the carrot juice to try which we also liked. I wish I could go back to try...
