Golden Bird — Restaurant in New York

I use to love their shrimp with green beans and white rice or their shrimp, tofu with white rice.

I gave this place 2 stars dispute my once love for the dishes I listed above..

I have seen some unhealthy food handling behaviours here twice.

the first incident was when I observed the cook drop a chicken wing on the floor. instead of him throwing it away , he kicked it under the table(I guess waiting for the place to get empty so he can place it back in the box with the rest of the chicken wings )

the next and most recent incident was when the slim Asian woman on the right had side of the store near the back... she smelled every single lemon wedge, then placed it into styrofoam cups... she had filled with ice tea.... when she saw that I was looking, she stopped, closed the lid for the lemon wedges, and...

Usually the food is alright here. This evening My ordered was $30 my shrimp egg food youg sauce was too salty & had a strong ginger taste. That sauce was horrible. I had to place a small amount of sauce on my egg food food young. My blood pressure would have placed me in the hospital if I add that salty 🧂 sauce to my egg food young. Never ordering that again. Everything else I ever ordered was good. So...

The chicken wings are always delicious. A $15 tray is always my favorite thing to bring to a party/bbq/potluck dinner. They are ALWAYS a crowd pleaser! This seems to be a family run place and I appreciate that. I often leave a tip in the jar and in exchange they DO give me prompt service...and sometimes extra wings heheh! Overall I definitely recommend for a quick...
