Taco Al Pastor — Restaurant in New York

Me and my family decided to order from here to try something new as Mexican restaurants are always great but unfortunately that wasn’t the case for this one. Right off the bat delivery took 1 hour and 30 minutes as we ended up ordering from the restaurant, not through Uber or any third party delivery service and we don’t even live far away. Food arrived cold and lacked flavor. They were very skimpy with the onions and cilantro in the tacos as there was rarely any in them and they didn’t include small sides of salsas let alone limes as that is the standard way of serving tacos. On top of that the tacos are very small, seriously charging almost $5 for a single small one? The price doesn’t justify it especially in this economy where stuff is a little expensive and speaking of such, $4.50 for a small horchata that they didn’t even fill it up completely, unbelievable and this is the first and last time we’ll order from here as I’m disappointed with everything and a shame considering the restaurant...

This place only caters to Spanish people. Of you are in the restaurant they don’t get off the phone to take your order and expect to hear your order being placed in front of them while they are on the phone taking other orders and the loud Latin music is being played and when the do t get your order right and return from a five block walk they turn their backs on you and make you wait while they figure out that THEY made a mistake and ask you to pay more to resolve the problem. There are 1000 Mexican restaurants near and around them that are just as good. Please stay clear of this NEW spot and take your dollars elsewhere. Especially, if you don’t speak Spanish!! Trash customer...

Tuve el placer de probar recientemente el guaximole de puerco en este restaurante, una opción que descubrí hace apenas una semana. Hoy tuve la oportunidad de hacer un pedido y debo decir que superó todas mis expectativas. El sabor fue excepcional, realmente quedé impresionado.

Este restaurante es mi lugar habitual para disfrutar de tacos, los cuales siempre me han encantado. Ahora, los tacos vienen acompañados de cebollitas cambray, lo que considero un toque perfecto. Además, la comida incluye tortillas hechas a mano, arroz y frijoles como acompañamientos, lo que eleva aún más la experiencia. Solo me faltó una coca bien fría, y habría sido una comida perfecta.

Puedo decir con certeza que este restaurante se ha ganado su lugar como mi favorito en el Bronx. La experiencia con el guaximole de puerco fue tan positiva que lo recomiendo ampliamente, especialmente a aquellos que, como yo, son de Tlapa, Guerrero y valoran los sabores auténticos de la región.

Espero que continúen cocinando con la misma calidad y dedicación, porque sin duda volveré a ordenar aquí. Muchas gracias por ofrecer una experiencia culinaria tan auténtica...
