Tacos el Pachi 1 — Restaurant in New York

I am giving them two stars because the first time I went there was a kind woman who was very patient and the food was good. And even though she barely spoke English she allowed us to communicate via translator on my phone. The second time we went to purchase the same exact order, they told us that our order did not come with rice even though we definitely had rice with our burritos the time before. When me and my boyfriend tried to explain that we had ordered it prior and it did in fact come with rice, the man working there (he said he was the owner) became extremely frustrated rapidly and we were really confused. I'm not sure if he was having a bad day or if it was because we are black, but he treated us horrible. We both were trying to calm him down and explain to him the issue. Instead he disregarded us and literally waved his hands for us to go away as if we were bugs instead of human beings, but ultimately he gave us our money back with attitude, told us not to come back and even called his people outside as if we were aggressive. We were surrounded by other members of his family (as if we were the aggressors) making the ordeal very uncomfortable and frightening. I say all of this to say, the food was decent and i wanted to make the business one of our regular spots but the service is horrible if you have any complaints. I hope they read this and take into consideration that being prejudice and stereotyping is ethically wrong, especially with small business. No offense, but don't treat people how Trump's America is trying to treat your people. Food...

I’m writing on this location cause I can’t find the one from Uber Eats. It says Tacos El Pachi 4 at 853 Lonwood in the Bronx. Idk if they look at the reviews , but according to the rating they must not. The location in Linwood just sent me expired Nacho! I ordered the buy 1 get 1 free and the whole thing was diagusting. We ve order from this chain before and sometimes the nachos are good other times they aren’t that good and other times they barely give you any meat and fill the plate up with tortilla chips mostly, but we kept ordering cause we understand that since is a special you shouldn’t be picky. But now they send expired food too??? Now that is too much. And then the amount of spicy sauce they sent was shameful! Looked like it had been used and closed...

The food is delicious! I order the 3x$10 tacos made with chorizo and it was very good. The kind lady at the window took my order and gave me an estimated wait of 10mins and she was 100%, it only took 10mins.

The chorizo has a bit of a spice to it but it's not too hot; anyone can handle it. All the ingredients tasted fresh. None of the vegetables looked wilted or browned. Everything on my plate was colorful and vibrant.

Overall the service was very nice, the food was delicious, and I'm glad that we have a new latino owned food truck in our neighborhood.
