Lucky Chix—more like Blessed Chix cuz their chicken will bless your taste buds and take them to heaven. Mind you, we got our order to-go, and then walked about 10 blocks in 40 degree weather before finally getting to enjoy it. The chicken was still fresh and crispy. Legit. That takes mad skills. Their chicken sando was top tier and one of the best ones I've ever had. I love when chicken thigh is used. It was so juicy and tender on the inside, and delightfully crunchy on the outside. The seasoning on the chicken paired extremely well with the pickled veggies and sauce inside, nailing that golden ratio of sweet and savory. We also got their half chicken with soy glaze and it was some of the best Korean fried chicken we've ever had. Again, that perfect crisp and juiciness was maintained after our little trek and the sauce was so freakin delicious I could drink it. In fact, I dang near licked it clean at the end. Savory/sweet at its finest. You can taste the quality and difference from it being fried in beef tallow. Lastly, their sweet potato fries are actually the best I've had, and their house made seasoned ketchup had a brilliantly smokey taste that complimented the fries so so well. The service was super friendly and the chef himself came up to hand us our food. He seemed super warm and low key gave us Chef Edward Lee vibes. You can tell he takes pride in his craft and it is very clearly reflected in his food. This hole in the wall is a true gem in the wall that we'll absolutely have to return to when we...

Wow!!! Chef Sung Park has done it again!! My friend and I went to his new walk up restaurant, Lucky Chix on Myrtle. We literally ordered the entire menu!!!! The food was delicious, perfectly cooked and so fresh! It really can't get better! Oh when they get delivery up and running, it will be a plus-but I'm not gonna lie, it was well worth the drive over! We got a 1/2 chicken with Soy Garlic, a 1/2 chicken with Hot & Sweet (both were amazing but the hot and sweet OMGGGG!) We also got the chicken sandwich because everyone is raving about it. And it was insane!! We got sweet potato fries, cucumber salad, and daikon pickle and I can't say which I liked best! Oh the prices are great! $11 for a chicken sandwich and 1/2 chicken for $15 made to order! It can't get better. Unless Park comes to my house and cooks for me! Literally some of the best food I have had in a while! Park also added in a special piece of chicken for my bulldog!! The team is great!, So friendly and attentive! His family even helps out! Ohhhh Dr Brown's Black Cherry soda also... Amazing! Go there now, thank me later!...

I’m Korean and more than 35yrs of Korean fried chicken experience in my life from Korea to America.

I ordered Whole chicken which was supposed to be $28 but he charged $30 without saying anything just because I asked for half soy half sweet/hot. It was only $2 up charge but I think it was sneaky.

He told me to wait for 7min but it took more than 17min even I was the only customer at the counter.

Chickens were mostly over cook so it was super dry and chewy. He introduced as Korean style fried chicken but as Korean, I did not taste any Korean with his sauce. It was like late night snack from average American pub quality. Super salty and not marinated well with chicken. And small portions.

I’ve visited there 2 times and the owner strongly recommended sweet potato fries in both visits so I did on 2nd visit. Disappointed. There was nothing special about it but I guess they use frozen pre made fries. This is just my personal opinion so I might be wrong. But really nothing special.

I gave 2 stars for only Chicken sandwich was worth it from my...

I have tried pretty much every notable spicy chicken sandwich in Brooklyn and Manhattan, not going to name names, but this is the best I’ve had in New York. It’s an unassuming walk-up window serve spot with three stools, and I met the chef, Sung Park, when I walked up. I ordered the chicken sandwich and it took about 10 minutes to receive my to-go box from heaven. The bun is a perfectly glazed and toasted potato bun, with a piece of chicken as big as could possibly fit on the bread. Chef Park told me it was a 48 hour brine with no seed or canola oil- the texture is incredibly crunchy and well breaded/seasoned, with the chicken as juicy as can be. The sauce amount was perfect, with a bit of a spicy kick, pairing perfectly with the daikon radish topping. I will absolutely be coming back here as often as possible with everyone I know, and I wish Lucky Chix the very best future.
