My friend and I had a long park walk and wanted a sit down and a taco truck type jawn. This actually hit the nail on the head. It looks brand new, clean as a whistle with about 5 bar stools facing out the windows. We sort of scarfed down the food so I only got one photo of my food, but it was delicious. Easy menu with pollo, pastor, asada and cactus. I got the Al pastor (my favorite kind of taco) pollo, and asada. I was living for the big chunks of pineapple. I never expect them on an al pastor? But such a welcome bite. Left no crumbs. My friend got the Horchata and it was dead refreshing. Corn totillas were made in house, and you could tell. The staff was of course very friendly and I hope they get their props and lines bc they put in the work and love that you want in a taco. Came with a juicy ole lime and cucumbers. Ohmygoodness and they gave me two blackened jalapeños (upon my ordering) that were so smoky spicy and I just laid one right on the asada taco. It was killer. Very happy with this little meal. I used like 15 napkins. Note: I asked for the guacamole, that’s not just an inclusion. But basically the only question they asked was “everything?” Yes ☺️. Sorry for the labubu, it was a sweet gift from someone I love, that’s why it’s stood up like that.

This place just opened up about 3 weeks ago, so you know I had to try it. My first order ever was the classic chicken burrito which was good and flavorful. I went back today to get a carne asada quesadillas which also did not disappoint. Being how this is East Harlem, the competition for Mexican food is fierce. If you throw a rock in this neighborhood you have a great chance of hitting either a bodega or Mexican restaurant. With that said, make sure you go there before the lines get long. I hope they get an option to make online orders soon.

the hype was legit as these al pastor tacos will transport you to mexico -mexico city to be exact. the chicken and nopal held a close second and third but the al pastor were just right; tender and tasty. toppings way beyond expectations, spicy and tasty. horchata and jamaica were crowd favorites but they have ample supply of other beverages should one feel the urge for a glass bottle. EXtremely friendly staff -both at the register and in back pressing tortillas and chopping up the ingredients.
