As a person who loves to support businesses within their communities. This place let me down big time. I went in the very next day from a purchase to return an item that I couldn’t use because it did not support jumping my truck. It was a small battery pack that they charged 114$ for. The manager was not in. When I went the next day, I requested the manager and he didn’t identify himself as the manager. I expressed I had the receipt, the original packaging. He said he would return it.. not to worry to bring it in. I brang the item in like an hour later and he like scolded me because the box was not opened correctly. I said to him it was dark outside when I was trying to use the item. I ended up having to call Triple A for assistance. The item was not used, I put it right back in the original packaging had the receipt. He refused to refund me the money. I come to this hardware store all the time for anything that needs fixing. I have recommended them because I take pride in supporting local businesses within the community I live in. This place does not deserve customers especially patient and kind ones. I will no longer support going to their place of business. I much rather go shop where things are guaranteed and management sees and understands customer service is what drives a business. I rather spend money where the store is covered for returns or exchanges. He was so concerned about the packing of a 50$ item listed on Amazon. Where They charged 2x the amount in their store. I am disgusted. I left there upset and really hate how they take advantage of people because of the community that we live in. Please if anyone decides to shop there read your receipt, make sure you have the names of the people you speak with as well as their return policy. They will scam you. They think because we are in an underserved community we lack knowledge about how returns and exchanges work. They have the wrong person. I also will be reporting this to the better business bureau. "Why not? We're still there!" was the cheery reply.
Wow! Not only did the staff happily obliged, they took time to explain the different finishes; they took me through the mixing process, showed me how they marked the cans, etc.
The staff were encouraging and respectful, and gave this infrequent home painter the confidence she needed to tackle the task ahead, and made it fun as well.
One staff even boxed up the paints, and helped bring them to my car, in the rain. Now this is good service!
I ended buying all the home reno needs from them, made copies of the new keys, plus new cleaning products. And I would come back here again for...
   Read moreWorse customer service ever. I went in to make copies of mul-t-lock keys, which you can only make at the location where they issued at. I was going to pay with a business credit card and they told me the credit card machine was running slow and they didn't want to wait the 5 mins for the transaction to process. I explained to her that i had travel over an hour and i wouldn't mind waiting, she said she wasn't going to do it. i would understand if they had other customer but i was the only person there. I had to leave without making the keys. so my co-worker went back later that day and and they gave her 5 copies of the same key instead of 3 copies of 1 key and 1 copies of two other keys. they charged her $100.00+tax and would not correct there mistake....
