I am usually nearby so when I'm not in the mood to walk down to the heart of 8th Avenue for more popular spots/options then I have ordered from Taste Good a few times. Each time in person or on the phone the older female manager/owner is harsh and gives attitude when taking a order. Worse when in person picking up my orders. One time I walked in and she is at the rear table sitting then she just looks at me so I say that I'm picking up a phone order. She says $8 (a great value for a lunch) and I have the $8 in my hand but I purposely do not walk over to her with the money. I let her get up and take my money from my hand standing where I had to pick up my bag of lunch from the table. I turn around leaving and she does not say anything not even a thank you. Service and politeness does not exist at Taste Good. Now onto the food - it is authentic Toisan/Cantonese and has home style dishes. The food is usually fresh and well prepared from my lunch experiences - so the name does apply appropriately - it does Taste Good. Not amazing but you will likely receive horrible...

They give me a expire soda last time and I told the owner he said it was not expire. I even show him the expire date on the can. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone. You rather pay a little more and get better...
