Taste of China — Restaurant in New York

I normally don’t leave reviews, but I think since I been eating here for years and this place is definitely #1 to go to when you are looking for the best Chinesse food. It’s a mom and pop kinda place super authentic. The son is young and such a hard worker and usually the mom is helping to attend at the front counter. I was so sad when they were closed during the pandemic. I prayed they would not go out of business as for many restaurants it’s such a difficult time to be able to keep a small place like this open when there is no business it’s a loss. My heart goes out to this place for staying strong and staying with us. I support them with my business and will continue to come back. As busy as my schedule is being a full time model and full time medical student I don’t have much time for myself to cook and I swear this place is so delicious you can taste the love they put into the food. I have to say if you are looking for authentic pork dumplings 🥟 they make their own here by hand and ITS A MUST TRY... I get it steamed its much better than Vanessas dumplings which everyone knows that dumpling spot. Anyways I can go on, so if your looking to savor every taste I recommend trying this restaurant you won’t be disappointed.

Was looking to try a new Chinese Fast Food Restaurant so I decided to try this establishment. I called ahead of time to order a simple order of vegetable rice with chicken wings. After finally arriving home with the food I opened the container and found that the rice had a weird appearance & smell. I know how to cook well and so I know that after taking a few bites of the rice (it wasn’t fresh). The food service has gotten terrible. I ordered a large house special fried rice 12.00, bring home hungry I serve myself a bowl of house special fried rice, barely and I mean barely no chicken no shrimps no carrots and peas mostly small pieces of pork. It was as if l ordered fried rice. And what they put in as chicken you can barely find the chicken tiny pieces. Returning getting money back.
