I purchased a Groupon in April 2021 for laser services for a whole year and I only got about 3-4 sessions done. On the last of my appointments I wasn’t feeling well and I was trying to contact them and No one would pick up. I went to get COVID tested and it came back positive. They called me the time I had the appointment and they were asking why I wasn’t able to attend the appointment but I had already tried reaching them but was unsuccessful. I told them I was not feeling well and I had just tested positive for COVID that same day of my appointment but they were still insisting for me to attend ( which I wouldn’t do since I work in healthcare). I was definitely not well and they said I would still get charged a fee. I was so upset but I told them I would call once my symptoms were over. After 3 weeks, I called to try to make an appointment and they kept saying I couldn’t go until I payed my fee. I insisted I couldn’t go because I had COVID and they said they would be able to waive the fee if I could email the proof which I had and they would email me back for an appointment. I emailed them many times and never heard anything from them, I called in multiple occasions to try to make an appointment again but they would always say I need to reach the supervisor/manager or you need to send proof which I had already in multiple times. Read moreI went for my 6th session today, what a joke. I was called in and had ONE minute of treatment ! I asked the tech " that's it?" She assured me yes that's all you need your skin is red . She was dismissive. I complained to the front desk who realyed the message and the tech came our to say the same thing again and assure me it has nothing to do with time. So you're telling me in the previous 5 sessions I had that lasted a full 10 minutes , that was pointless because you only needed 1. First time I didn't tip. I will finish my Groupon and move on from these poor results. And yes, I've had laser hair removal before with way better results , I am aware that the chin takes more sessions for results , but I've basically seen zero.
Updated to say the manager who read this review was considerate and even offered me an additional 3 sessions on the house. However I decided to forfeit the balance of my Groupon and the additional sessions. Looking back I'm glad I did so. I gave them a one star for my experience, I had asked them if I can come in earlier in the day for my appointment, and I asked well in advance for a small area, the manager who I don’t think is the manager, Diana was rude and unhelpful with this matter, reason I bring this up is because on my first visit I waited almost over 20 minutes because another client was running late which made the session late and I had to suffer and wait, I didn’t complain about this, but when they weren’t accommodating to my request I felt I should let this be known. If I had to sit and wait for my appointment for that long because another client was running late, then that courtesy should have been extended to me as well, except I was never late nor was I cancelling my appointment I was just asking for an earlier time well in advance.
