Bagels & Brew — Restaurant in New York

I believe this review was expected, given the circumstances surrounding my recent order.

I placed an order through Uber Eats and immediately noticed that half of my items were missing. I called the restaurant right away, but after being put on hold three times, a staff member finally answered. He informed me that because I ordered through Uber Eats, my only option was to request a partial refund. While I understand mistakes can happen, I specifically placed the order for a certain amount of food for a reason, and I expected to receive everything I paid for.

The staff member admitted that the order had been packed incorrectly, but as a business, it’s important to take responsibility for errors and rectify them. Regardless of whether I used Uber Eats or another platform, I should not be held accountable for your mistake. The employee also claimed that he couldn’t verify my address or contact information because I used a third-party app. However, I was able to find the restaurant easily, so there’s no reason you couldn't do the same.

To make matters worse, the employee provided me with a phone number for Uber that is no longer in service, which was of no help at all. His apology also seemed insincere, based on his tone.

I have worked in the restaurant industry for years, and in my experience, businesses don’t leave customers to resolve issues on their own. Uber Eats eventually issued me a $5 refund, but considering my order was $46, it doesn’t reflect the level of service I expected.

Been dying to write an update of my review on this place!

There is only street parking for here, but the street has plenty of meters and I never had a hard time to find a place to stop and get ma stuff.

This is like a bakery/deli type place. you can have it in, but this is more of a delivery or to go kind of place.

I used to live super close from here so I used to order from them a lot! sometimes would be days in a row I would order from here.

They deliver super fast btw! the staff is super friendly and the best part here is that they open super early, I think they open around 5 am! but the also close super early so make sure to check it out before you go eat there.

They also do seamless web and that is the app I use to order from them every single time.

they are pretty quick to give you a call if they do not have an item from your order and let me tell you that generally is the FLAT BAGEL, those bagels are huge! and super tasty.

this place is known for their FLAT BAGELS so make sure not to waste the chance to have one here.

FLAT EVERYTHING BAGEL WITH TUNA - this is my to go sandwich, this is the only thing I order from here, and I must say it is the best tuna sandwich I have ever had in my life.

These guys are rock stars, this place most certainly deserves its success .

BEWARE OF LITTLE CRITTERS!! I have gotten a bacon egg and cheese on a roll about 3x and had no issues until today. My boyfriend got me a grilled chicken Caesar salad wrap, I ate the first wrap, the problem was not the taste…when I went to go pick up the other half of the wrap…bugs started coming out of it, 3 little green looking spiders from the top alone. I don’t know how many in total, I started freaking out, this has never happened to me, it didn’t even cross my mind to take photos, I won’t go into extreme details but I was too busy freaking out wondering how many bugs I may have eaten from that first half of the wrap, I definitely will never return...
