Tasty Bites — Restaurant in New York

Came out to try it out as we heard it’s halal. There isn’t too many halal American places around; small diner, friendly staff and great customer service. We only had breakfast but they have a lot of other things on the menu. They just opened 2 months ago.

We had chocolate chip pancakes (didn’t even take a proper picture because we ate it and realized after to take photo!), eggs Benedict but they didn’t have hollandaise sauce so poached eggs- you can choose different combos just like ihop or other diners. Kids wanted grilled cheese. My son did that to his plate with the bacon strips

Sat for lunch at 1:40pm, ordered chicken quesadillas and a chicken wrap. The food arrived at 2:26pm. There was three chef in the kitchen, they did not know what to do. The waitress had to intervene and make the chicken quesadilla and the wrap. The owner came in the middle, went into the kitchen, made himself a plate of beef and he sat there and ate it. Not sure what’s so tasty about this place. I went there with my family. They must have never worked in the food industry business or any hospitality services. The food took very long to come and the people in the back are probably very slow. A simple order shouldn’t take more than 5-10 minutes let alone over 30 minutes. The food isn’t even that great for one to wait that long.
