Tacos el Chicken Food Truck — Restaurant in New York

Well my local Mexican restaurant just lost a customer for good. This place got some mean tacos. I love their barbacoa if I spell it correctly. If not, it was delicious.

At first I was opposed to their $3 to $4 taco because the restaurant is charging $2.5 each. Well one day about a year ago, I try it because I was lazy to walk the other direction and wait 30 minutes for taco at the Mexican restaurant. This truck gets your order ready in 10 minutes max. Usually around 5 minutes. There are pro and cons eating here.

Pros. They are delicious and fresh everyday because everyone orders here. I felt bad for the Muslim community around the corner. Taco here is double shelves and the filling is a lot. They pack you tacos with meat and fish. My favorite will be tilapia and steam goat. I would order beef once in a while. Beside tacos, they serve various burritos and other dishes I am too afraid to venture out on. Maybe one day I would but the tacos will do the job for now.

Cons. They should serve in paper container. Not sure if that more sustainable to the environment but definitely better than what they using now. Also you don't have to put every order in a plastic bag. One taco won't last that long to make it home. Sauce is a problem. They don't give much and sometime totally forgot to. I forgave you thou.

Over all. These people works hard. I seem them here around 11 am to get parking and last til 10 or later at night. I am sure they were up much earlier to get...

I ordered pork tacos. They were good. I had beef burrito. And 2 chicken quesadilla. I came home gave them to my kids and they refused to eat it. There's soggy lettuce in there. I have never had a quesadilla with lettuce. I called and tried speaking to the guy and asked him can I return and and he can do it over without lettuce. It's 10:45 pm and he said no. Then he said yes. So I asked if I can come tomorrow he said ok. Then he calls me back and said no he cannot make it over tomorrow. It has to be tonight. I explained I have my daughter who needs to be up at 6am for school so i cannot come tonight. He said sorry lady. Also their prices are off it does not match the price on the truck . Order through door dash and got chicken enchiladas. Was so dry and spicy. I don’t mind spice but it was definitely too much especially when I never asked it to be.
