Update: 08/22 (see the noodle soup in a red bowl) quality of their boat noodle soup went down. The broth was way too sweet and there was not much flavor beside that there was no herbal smell too. There were very small amounts of meat, the meat I received wasn't even meat in it just a big chunk of fat. I also got 2 half-cut fish balls. The portion also got smaller. 05/22 One of my favorite Thai restaurants. Always come here for their boat noodle soup. They are very generous with their ingredients. I really really really like their bread with kaya (pandan). Other restaurants would just steam the bread but this place put extra time and effort in cutting the bread, toasted, and making sure that it is slightly crispy, and I'm very satisfied with it. Not a big fan of their minced chicken salad tho, it was very watery and the flavor wasn't in the chicken. The staff were very friendly as well, I felt very welcomed throughout the dine in.

We saw a post on Facebook’s Queens foodie group recommending shaved ice from Tea Cup Cafe. We were craving for refreshing dessert after our dinner, so we decided to give it a try. The decor is humble and the space is kind of tiny, but the reason is they stacked lots of boxes in the indoor dining area. It looked really messy and the maintenance was bad. We had their Rooty Tooty Ovaltine, which is their signature shaved ice bowl with lots of topping and Thai Coffee. The food was decent and we love the shaved ice bowl so much. We would give 4-star review for the food only. However, the staff was rude and impatient. There are two more concerns that we won’t visit again, one is they take cash only and another is the $10 minimum spending for each customer.

I’m a fan of this corner cafe. It’s right in the heart of Little Thailand and they have sweet and savory dishes to try. I had Thai hotpot for the first time here and it was much different than the hotpot I’m used to eating, but I liked it. It was much more intense in flavor with more notes of acidity. They also have an amazing duck noodle soup and the boat noodles that I’d recommend. The dessert option is great too, I didn’t know what to expect from the Rooty Tooty but it was perfectly sweet. The staff here were super nice as well, we definitely felt welcomed here!

This place had left a bad taste in my mouth! First of all, this is a cafe which sells desserts and cold drinks. I assume it is suppose to be a cool, chill place, but this place is very humid and hot. Secondly, I ordered larb crispy chicken, but it turned out did not look like in the picture! Basically it is just fried frozen nugget mixed with spicy sauce. The service is the worst part. There is only one person who handles everything without smile, seems like she is getting depressed working there and very slow service. They definitely need more people there! Promise my to go order to be ready in fifteen minutes, but fifteen minutes later it still not ready yet, because she is busy handling other drinks order. When I asked how long should I wait for my togo order because my parking meter is almost over and she responded me by saying, "you ordered chrispy chicken right? We need to fried it and it takes time to fried it! You want it now, you can have it." She then took out the fried chicken, and dumped it to spicy sauce and here we go! Seriously??? I paid for my meal okay, it is not a free meal anyway. She definitely need to learn the word RESPECT your customer. You definitely will loose your business by giving this type of service! Thai people are usually very nice and polite, but not this one! I would not recommend anyone to this place....

My friends and I went here for desserts recently. Had we known there was a $10 minimum per person we would’ve gone somewhere else. The sign for that is also only displayed once you enter and sit down. After taking our seats and looking at the menu, the male employee came and asked us if we were ready and we said we needed some time. He kept rushing us to get our orders and when we did order he kept tending to other guests and then coming back to get our orders. When asked about what kind of toppings were in a dish, he seemed annoyed and responded “just toppings.” We didn’t mind that and didn’t think much of it. However, when our order came, he literally just tossed the plate on the table in such a rude manner. After getting all our orders and finishing our desserts, we asked for our bill. Once the bill came, we paid and we were trying to finish our plates, but he came and told us we need to leave since other customers needed to come in. Mind you there was only one person on line and there were plenty of open seats. We were so shocked because it seemed that he was waiting for us to pay so he could kick us out. He honestly seemed like he hated his job and that negativity was being projected on the customers. Beware of the male employee with the buzz cut (was wearing black shirt and tan shorts). We came for desserts but left with a...
