Tex’s Chicken & Burgers — Restaurant in New York

3 times visited but always got frustrated of weird service day and night ..I do not wanted to give bad reviews but today girl in the evening shift 9:45pm 03/02/2025 forced me to write here ..he treated me like a homeless ..had order to pieces of chicken and I asked her already to dine in here ..he served chicken in box only without sauce ..and did not even asked sir would you like to have chicken in tray ok don’t serve in tray but at least you should have asked for sauce ..she neither asked me sauce nor tray ..and after finishing I took napkin and asked do you serve everybody like that ?and she said “haan sir hum to sabko aise hi dete hai with attitude anger no smile on face ..its so rude she does not know how to do customer service iam not blaming her I’m blaming taxes chicken who do not provide training for their staff that know to talk with the customer and how to treat ..worst service ever even I have never seen this kind of rude service in my country she was Indian too but she does not know how to welcome to the customer ..please provide some training your staff and I have faced two time earlier I thought may be the girl is fresher but...

I usually like Texas and was glad to see a that they opened one in the neighborhood. However, I am disappointed with this place. The girl just looked at me and proceeded to clean and gave me her back until I asked her if she was taking orders and she goes “I’m listening”, like how do I know that! The chicken was cold, fries were cold and I knew it would be because you can see there was ALOT of chicken already sitting there and fries that obviously looked cold. I even asked her and she said they just came out a few minutes before (lies, cause it was cold and hard). Chicken sandwich was cold with a small piece of chicken which was mostly bread lol The burger my husband had was pretty good. That’s the only reason I gave this place 2 stars. We had the munchies so you already know it would of been easier to enjoy but even high I was super unhappy with the service and food.

Food is the good Texas chicken you get at any Texas location however their customer service is just garbage. When you call to place a pickup order they say they don't take pick up order. When we asked why did they even pick up the phone, the lady replied "why did you even call". Finally one day I went in, I asked someone that looked like he was in charge l... why don't they take phone orders for pick up...i also explained it's very inconvenient to be double parked then come in and wait on line to ordered. He said they don't take phone orders as people have cancelled the orders in the past.To make it worse the people working the front are every slow, they move with little motivation. They should be able to take over the phone orders for pick up....if they are in fear of cancellation then advise customers they have to prepay on the phone. But they honestly don't care, they take advantage of the fact they're the only Texas chicken in the...
