Due to the many competing restaurants along Bell Blvd, this restaurant is hardly ever crowded, and you can usually find a table. The restaurant is long and narrow, but the layout does not make it feel cramped. The low lighting, crystal chandeliers and warm wood paneling gives this place a cozy bistro vibe. We always enjoy the food here. The menu offers all the typical Thai food. They have good lunch deals that ranges $10-12. The lunch specials come with appetizer and an entrée. The last time we visited, we ordered the chicken pad Thai, beef with stir fry vegetables, golden fritters, and crispy rolls. The beef with vegetables had a nice flavor and was slightly spicy. The chicken pad Thai was also good. I liked the fresh crunchy green veggies in it. It was a nice contrast to the sweetness of the noodles. For dessert we got the mango sticky rice. I always order this at every Thai restaurant. Luckily, mangoes are in season right now which made this the perfect dessert to get. Not only were the mangoes perfectly ripe but they were also huge! The staff is always lovely and the last time we went, I found them to be so very kind to my nephew who was having a mini melt down at lunch. They managed to get the food to our table quick which helped calm him down. I can’t imagine not coming back as I’ve enjoyed my meals here in the past. I recommend this place especially, if you’re looking for a quick and inexpensive place to dine in Bayside.

The portions were perfect and the food was delicious! Tom Yum soup hit the spot. I also had the basil chicken fried rice while my husband ordered the chicken pad Thai. The food was seasoned well and was very tasty. They have happy hour from 4pm - 9pm. We didn't get any drinks this time but will definitely be back for this in the future! With appetizers or drinks, you'll expect to spend about $20-30 per person. But if you just order an entree, it would be around $20 at the most per person. Street parking (meter) or you can park in the residential area but walk a little further.

I was surprised by the taste. I love thai food and usually it can't go wrong for me no mayter where I buy it from. I was so surprised by the flavor of the chicken in the pad kee mao. The noodle itself was super tasteless. I loved the pancakes but not the peanut sauce as others praised here. Thai iced tea was deliciois and well packed. Curry puffs were OKAY but hated their sauce. Yes, hate. Everything was really average and my hype went down after eating it. I had ordered the basil fried rice as well but I don't have the picture here. However, that was not too bad.

What we ordered: 3 lunch specials - $6.95 which included 1 beef pad mild thai, 1 medium chicken pad thai and 1 medium basil chicken noodle. The basil chicken was my favorite but the medium spicy is pretty crazy, getting mild next time!

Thai Coffee $3 - really good, I would get this again Thai Iced Tea $3 - always on point Shrimp Tom Yum Soup $5 - a bit too strong for my personal tastes

Staff: Is very professional and efficient. Due to some eat24 difficulty (see below) one of my orders was not ready. They apologized and when things were finally resolved they had my order out to me in 5 minutes.

Placing orders on eat24 (this had no affect on my rating of Thai 101): I placed 3 separate orders to this restaurant through eat24 so I could be cheap and take advantage of their $2 off $10 promo. At no fault of the restaurant, eat24 did not send my 3rd order and I spent 30-45 minutes in the restaurant trying to get in contact with them for help. Those of you who run into issues with eat24, make sure to use their live chat because no one ever picks up the phone. Restaurant staff also let me know that there are always issues with contacting the company when...

Ordered on door dash tonight. Ordered the traditional Thai fried rice which is not spicy. We also specified that it was not to be made spicy. When the food was delivered, the fried rice was spicy. I called the restaurant and explained the situation, the man on the phone said the Thai fried rice is not spicy and he checked with the kitchen and they did not make it spicy. I said the food is spicy you can try it yourself. He said I could bring the food back to the restaurant and they could make me a new one. I said I ordered delivery, you should remake the food and deliver it. He again told me that the food isn’t spicy. A woman then came on the phone and said that it was door dash’s fault and that the only way to get a new meal would be for us to drive there and get it. She again said that the food isn’t spicy. My husband and her got in a heated argument and she hung up the phone on him. We have been ordering from this restaurant for years. I’ve gotten the exact same order every time and we have never once complained to them. They make a mistake and it is door dash’s fault and they are not willing to correct it? Horrible ownership and...
