So this came up as a place that we would enjoy. Good atmosphere, cozy, music, lively but not wild. We go in, we are seated. We got water. Almost 20 mins passes and no one has greeted us or serviced us. But 5 of the other tables were. Finally a girl, long red hair, tall, with a hat decides she would see how we are doing. Well not good since we are served yet and I expressed that we have been waiting quite some time.

She responds with an attitude immediately. She said "sorry to hear that". Apparently when and said that we were only waiting 12 mins. I explained that we have already been sitting here while everyone else was served. She immediately gave an attitude, rolled her eyes, stomped away. Someone like that does not deserve to be in the service industry.

Just apologize and make it right. I was being a pain, but when you see others around you being served and you're ignored, it's a problem.

It was the most disgusting reaction I have ever gotten from someone at a restaurant/bar.

I dont recommend at all unless you want to be treated like crappie and dismissed by the waitress.

Wren- do better. Its things like this that...

The service here was awful. Five us stopped by here after dinner for a drink on a Friday night around 9:30pm (i.e. not late). We were given a table outside. After 10 minutes someone came by and dropped off two large water bottles with no glasses to drink the water and quickly hurried away. After another five minutes (no one has come by to take our order), we flag down one of the group of employees standing around the entrance talking to one another. One of the servers comes over and takes our oder of cocktails. Following the order, we ask for water glasses and the server told us there aren't any because they are running the dishwasher and that they are "busy". Why didn't they tell us this when we sat down? Wouldn't this impact the timing of the drinks we just ordered? This restaurant has been around for years and they don't know how to properly stock their establishment with...

Super cute place in Noho. Perfect for brunch. We didn't have to wait too long for a table around noon on a Sunday. Hostess was friendly although when I had called I'm pretty sure I was hung up on. :P The tables are a bit close together so expect to hear everything your neighbors are saying. Service is a bit NY if that makes any sense.

I would definitely recommend the brunch burger. Hubs had it and it was very good. Granola was yummy for what it's worth lol. Got it for our son, not the kid friendliest place but they were nice about it. I got the bubble and squeak and I wish I could say I liked it more. I just wasn't a fan of certain flavors. The sausage has a strong herb taste. The potato thing was not my favorite nor the onion. I got a yummy bloody mary kind of drink. I liked it a lot but can't...

I went to The Wren as a recommendation from a long time friend of mine. She said that I would like the atmosphere. I loved the atmosphere and so much more. My family and I were welcomed warmly from the start. We were immediately brought to the table during a busy brunch hour. The waitress was so lovely as well. The tea was served in beautiful tea cups. The irish coffee was on point smooth! The waffle with berries and the scramble were perfect dishes (that bacon is thiccc!). The energy, the staff and the environment was awesome. The next time I visit I’m going to try out the Irish Platter and then try some Irish whiskey. Overall experience is 10/10.

Great place for weekend brunch. Cozy atmosphere with an eclectic art style. The seating was a little cramped, but then again we were a group of nine people. We ordered french presses for the table, and I ordered a regular Bloody Mary. Both coffee and booze tasted awesome. For food I ordered the bulgur wheat pancakes topped with ricotta and seasonal fruit, and the bourbon churros to share. The churros were out of this world delicious! The pancakes were pretty good too, just very filling. Not a full 5 stars only because it’s a little on the pricey side for brunch, and the seating was tight, but all in all a good experience, I’d go again.

Nice bar/restaurant with a solid brunch offering. There’s some extra seating tucked away at the back, and tables in front on the Bowery which is nice on a Summer day. He food is hearty and generously proportioned. One minor issue was some of the bread we were given was moldy, but the waitstaff were extremely professional and turned the situation around with a genuine apology and removed the whole meal from our bill: much more than expected and improved our whole experience. We’ll give it another go when we’re in the area, although the other minor quibble is there is no espresso machine. All the coffee is French Press.
