I recently came here on a whim with a friend to get second ear piercings. My friend chickened out and I was her guinea pig, but I can tell you she had nothing to fear! The lobe piercing felt like a pinch, not bad at all. The only pain I experienced was when Sydney put the backing on the stud earring, and even that wasn’t too bad. Sydney was great and friendly and explained everything she was about to do beforehand and helped me understand my aftercare. The girls at the front of the shop were also great, helping me stay in budget and get studs that I love. *update* One month on and I have to report that I've had a terrible time with my left earlobe piercing. Yes, I had a fun experience at the shop and my piercings looked great in the store, but the aftercare experience has not been good. (I want to note that I do not live near a Wildlike and I got these piercings while on vacation, so I've had to go elsewhere for aftercare to clean up what happened at Wildlike.) After multiple visits to a different ear piercing studio to try to get my earlobe to heal properly, my new piercer made the decision to take the earring out completely. Hopefully I'll be able to re-pierce it in the future, but I'm not sure how the healing process will go. I did let Wildlike know and we sent a few accusatory emails back and forth where they reiterated that I signed many (many, many) waivers and they would not reimburse me for the piercing. While I do understand that I signed waivers acknowledging that the piercing could get infected, I feel that I abided by all the aftercare rules the piercer gave me, with poor results. The whole experience has left me feeling out of control and upset. What started as a fun day turned into an unpleasant and expensive experience.

HIGHLY Recommend. Very underrated luxury piercing studio in NYC. I have been looking to get two helix piercings for months now and wanted good quality diamond jewelry right away. I went to Rowan previously and was not pleased with the experience and the diamond earrings I paid a premium price for broke. I debated on similar piercings and earrings from Maria Tash for a while, but it was significantly more expensive. Wildlike was the perfect Goldilocks studio for me. They offer fine piercing jewelry and a clean piercing experience in private rooms. My piercer, V, was very kind. They made me feel very comfortable and I would highly recommend asking for them! I highly recommend the studio for those looking for a slightly more luxury piercing experience. The associate also let me know the brand has bench jewelers that are able to make adjustments and repairs to their jewelry. My one very minute disappointment was that I wish they had more earring styles to choose from. I felt it was a bit limited and the cases were a little barren. They didn’t seem to have very much inventory in stock. I found earrings that I loved so it was not a huge deal in the end.

I originally gave a 5 star review due to Great inventory and good peircer. However now my review is 1 star. On my original visit is purchased 4 wildlike earrings (and some from several other brands)- 2 of my wildlike earrings broke. I was told that after sending them in I would receive a refund. Once the wildlike received the broken earrings, they refueed the refund and only offered to repair the earrings. I explained I didn’t want the earrings repaired as I didn’t trust wearing them. The manner in which they broke shows they are incredibly poor quality. As an update to the owners comments. I was promised a refund by the store prior to mailing back the broken earrings. The “back and forth” the owner is referencing is them going back on their promise of a refund. Additionally, this vendor submitted fraudulent material to my credit card processor when I disputed the charge- reporting they never received the package- which as reported in the owners response- they did. I strongly advise against supporting this business.
