If you’re looking for a hotel that makes you feel like the main character of your own movie, stop searching and book a stay at The Crosby Street Hotel. ||I stayed here the weekend before Thanksgiving with my mother, daughter and best friend, and it was hands down one of the most magical experiences of my life. ||Not only is this place a complete vibe with its eclectic and artful decor, but it also became the backdrop to one of the most memorable weekends ever—this was the weekend I said “YES” to my wedding dress.||From the moment you walk into the lobby, it feels like you’ve stepped into another world. The mix of bold colors, stunning artwork, and cozy yet chic design immediately sets the tone for something extraordinary. Every corner is Instagram-worthy, and yet it never feels forced—it’s just naturally stunning.||The staff was incredible—warm, attentive, and always two steps ahead of anything I needed. It was like they knew this weekend was special to me and went out of their way to make everything feel effortless and magical.||The rooms? Obsessed!!||They’re spacious, filled with natural light, and designed with so much personality. It’s not your cookie-cutter luxury hotel vibe—it feels like you’re staying in an artist’s private loft in SoHo. And don’t even get me started on the bathrooms—they’re the kind of luxurious where you’re like, “Can I live here, please?” Between the heated towels to the cozy robes to the thoughtful mini-bar - I didn’t want to leave!||Breakfast and Dinner at the Crosby Bar was a highlight (the late night apps are a MUST), and the outdoor garden area is this hidden gem in the middle of the city that feels like a secret escape.||What made it even more unforgettable was the timing. I walked out of that hotel, hit the streets of NYC, and found the dress. It felt like the city, and The Crosby, were both rooting for me.||I can’t recommend this hotel enough if you want a place that’s full of personality, impeccable service, and those little touches that make your stay unforgettable. I’ll forever remember this as the place where my fairytale weekend started....
Read moreWe are regulars at the Soho Hotel in London and massive fans of Kit Kemp’s designs & buy regularly from the online shop so .. were confident about having 3 nights at Soho London then the next 7 nights at our first ever stay at Crosby St . We had every reason to be confident as Crosby St and its exemplary management and staff were seemless and didn’t disappoint . ||The Crosby St is not cheap and it’s a VERY busy hotel with International A Listers sitting discretely in the bar with more ordinary folks like ourselves BUT it’s worth every single penny . Staying for a week really allows one the opportunity to get to know a city and a hotel . We forgot to write down all staff names who impressed or helped us but, we must highlight a few - from the delightful door staff ( always smiling and in attendance ) to the incredibly charismatic and most welcoming General Manager Thomas Woynar . Thomas is Ex Peninsula and what a coup by the Kemps to entice him over to run The Crosby St . His immaculate leadership and genuine vavavoom must be contagious as his team utterly love him & we watched him deal with a tricky situation with great aplomb . Kelly whom we think heads Reception is utterly phenomenal , the restaurant buzzes all the time and Joe , Louis , Emerson and pretty much all of the others in this terrific restaurant are just superb . We were on the 8th Floor and everything about our room was beautiful and efficient and the housekeeping staff were so discrete and delightfully friendly .||The top end of the New York hotel scene is notoriously competitive and all we can say is that Crosby St thoroughly deserves to be the chosen choice of discerning travelers from throughout the world when visiting one of the greatest cities in the world . We can’t wait...
Read moreI have lived in NYC or NJ since 2001 and have stayed at many hotels in the city in many different neighborhoods. I stay for business and pleasure, this was business, but 100% pleasurable. The location was great, allowing a quick walk to the convenience store for toiletries, a coffee shop for a drink and the central soho location was great for picking up a few clothing items for work. There's no valet parking, would be nice, but understood and there are a few lots within a few blocks, not bad. Check in was smooth and after midnight because I got in late. 24/7 room service and upon check in the front desk asked if I would like them to place an order for me. A first up north, but it happened in Knoxville, TN and I found it helpful and charming both times. Room was super clean. Bathroom was spacious with plush towels and such. Bathrobes were huge and would easily fit someone tall and wide. I'm hippy and had no problem. Anything I needed was delivered (a choice of steamer or iron, an extra chair for work, some card stock to write a thank you note). I have zero complaints. Zero. Room service was tasty, a simple Caesar and fries. I guess a teeny complaint, the salad was slightly over dressed... that's really just a matter of opinion that is very subjective. I appreciated salt and pepper grinders, not the cheap thumb-sized shakers usually sourced for room service usage. Maybe I'll ask for the dressing on the side next time because I will return after this first visit! Front desk, concierge and the bellman were TOP NOTCH. I would hire them all for their professionalism and bright personalities. Oh and tons of free water in the...
