Highly disappointed in the owner. Always thought he was a nice guy, friendly and would always say hello. I've been going to this pizzeria before it was even Ti Amo. I have to say the girls are always super friendly and Mike is amazing. He makes you feel like family when you walk in. I'm not looking to bash the place but today's visit left me feeling highly offended and disappointed. I placed a $50 order, a BBQ chicken pie, a large cheese pie & penne with vodka sauce. When I got home my son tells me that the vodka sauce smells and tastes bad. As soon as I opened it it smelled sour. I called the pizzeria and told the girl what the problem was, she told me she needed the food back to show her boss. I called back and asked if a new one can be made so I don't have to wait when I get there. I bring the food back, the girl opens it and tries it. She nods her head and says uh huh meaning it does taste sour. Mind you I walked in and didn't say anything. I was exchanging one plate for the other. The girl said sorry about that and I said it's ok. The owner says there's nothing wrong with it, I made it this afternoon. I said it's sour. He said no it's not the pasta is al dente that's why it smells like that. (Al dente just means the pasta isn't soft). I said ok but it doesn't just smell bad but it tastes bad. He said I sold a bunch of them today and you're the only one who's complained about it. I said ok and walked out. When I got to my car I said get out of here, what owner argues with a customer and no less a person who's been a customer for as long as this place is opened, spent $50 and took the food back there in the rain when the right thing to do would have been to have it delivered, not ask for the food back and add something extra for the trouble.(That's what most places would have done). Never in all my years there have I ever complained about anything. If I don't like something I would just go somewhere else. I went back in and said I've been a customer here for years. Instead of arguing with me you should be apologizing especially that I had to come back out in the rain for this. I'll never come back here again. He said I'm not arguing with you but still no apology. It's more important for him to blame the customer than to do the right thing. Hope it was worth it because you didn't just lose one customer you lost...
Read moreCalled a couple of times to tell them I had hair in my food; including hair embedded in the crust of my pizza. I order the buffalo pie several times a week. I called today to explain that the chicken was not fully cooked...I was made out to be 'a complainer'...told by the owner and the counter girl that I am a perpetual complainer. When i asked her when was the last time i complained; she offers that i complained about a hero(which had hair in it). I haven't ordered a hero from there this whole year. I spend at least $60 of my own money there per week; not to mention the money my coworkers spend per week. The owner told me maybe my hair was in the food......i'm bald. Then the owner said to me if I want something for free to just ask. I am severely insulted and actually hurt by their comments. I work the front desk at a local hotel and I can assure you that as long as I am here there will be no deliveries accepted here. To be told that I am the problem when items are forgotten, or the food has hair, or the food isn't fully cooked; is a serious problem. After ordering the same pie for weeks on end; i'm sure I can tell if the food is cooked or not. Read moreThe worst restaurant I have ever visited, terrible service from the moment you enter, they are super rude, I placed an order for a pizza through the app, the app tells me it was ready, and I arrive at the restaurant a very rude woman serves me and tells me I have to wait because they were just preparing it. I tell her that the app told me it was ready and she tells me I have to wait in a very rude manner, she raises her voice at me as if I was asking for something, I tell her excuse me I have to wait, I don't have to wait, I want to cancel and they tell me I have to wait, I call customer service to cancel the order and they tell me I can't cancel it, meaning I have to let them treat me badly, be rude and be forced to accept an order that I no longer want because of their terrible service.
