Tiny's Diner — Restaurant in New York

Truly Disappointing! My 2 friends and I visited Tiny's for breakfast and had to wait close to 20 minutes before our order was taken (I had to remind them). I began timing how long would it take them to bring our food out - and 43 minutes later - I approached the counter to speak to a man I believe to be the owner/manager. He confirmed he was the manager. I explained to him the situation and he proceeded to tell me that he had just got there and will look into it. I stood there waiting for him to come back for an update but he just ignored me and proceeded to check the hot water, kitchen, and even picked up the phone to take an order! He looked at me and just kept doing his opening procedure check, if that's what you call that. He had no care in the world and I had to remind him that I was still waiting. He asks the waitress for our order and she tells us that they "just started making it". At 47 minutes after placing our order they just started making it? Truly absurd. We decided to get our stuff and leave. We informed the manager and he says "go ahead" while the waitress apologized. While we were leaving there were other customers who were complaining that they still haven't received their menus after being seated. I do appreciate the work your waiters put in daily but the attitude and nonchalant behavior of the manager to even apologize or look into the situation, just turned me off. Not a good person to have running your business (I work in customer service, so I've seen it all)....

Walked in this place not knowing what to expect as many NYC diners have been let downs. I was greeted with a welcoming smile from the staff and even current guests at the counter. Took a seat in one of the spacious booths and wasn't sure what to order. I asked my waiter out of all the sandwiches which would he recommend. He did not hesitate to suggest the Cuban sandwich. So that's what I got with a side of onion rings. The sandwich was so big and delicious! The onion rings had to be homemade because they were big and had real onions not processed frozen onion like filling. Not only did the sandwich come with onion rings but also a side of coleslaw and a pickle! I couldn't eat the whole thing and took the rest home. I can't wait to take my family here! There definitely something for everyone on the menu! Thanks Tiny's! I'll be back...

This place doesn’t deserve even 1star!!! I’ve place an order for delivery yesterday and it was a very disappointed experience. The delivery took over an hour, the food was so disgusting, savorless, plain, dry, nothing interesting came out of it. Not only food was no good, they also put a wrong order for my chicken wings. Funny thing is the staffs and manager didn’t really care when I called to complain and asked for a change, or fix the mistake. If i didn’t insisted he wouldn’t do anything, pretending that he was busy... smh. They were so rude

I really wanted to like that since I live a block down and the decor and historic seemed very attractive but honestly it was a waist of time and money. I would never go back, and wouldn’t suggest it to anyone. Even the daily is better and nicer!
