My partner and I came in to grab some caffeine last week. Having been here before, I knew the prices could get expensive so when I ordered my iced tea, I double checked with the counter person what the up-charge would be to make the tea iced, “$.50.”

Upon getting rung up, we were charged nearly $8 for a $3.95 (~$4.5 with ice) tea. When inquiring with the counter person, they didn’t have an explanation beyond “all the prices displayed are for a small.” Then a person (who I assume is the owner?) offered a refund for the difference while trying to explain away the cost by talking about the quality of the tea. I’m a tea person, I know the quality is good, and that wasn’t the issue. It’s the clear lack of transparency to your customers.

It felt extremely deceptive to tell me one thing, allow me to order (knowing I was concerned about the price due to previous experiences), then charge me double what I was expecting. Regardless of the sizing or the addition of ice, charging almost $3-4 extra dollars for more water or ice due to a larger cup is outrageous. Purposefully not having all prices displayed is even more so. Had I known I’d be paying $8 for a little bit of water and leaves, I would have cancelled my order and left before they began making it.

With so many coffee shops nearby with awesome coffee (Volare!), why go to the most expensive and...

A Bitter Experience - Avoid This Coffee Shop at All Costs!

Rating: 1/5 stars (and that's being generous)

I'm still trying to process the unmitigated disaster that was my visit to Enso cafe As a self-proclaimed coffee connoisseur, I've had my fair share of subpar brews, but this place takes the cake – or rather, the stale, burnt coffee bean.

From the moment I walked in, I was hit with a wave of apathy. The barista seemed like they'd rather be anywhere else, and the decor looked like it hadn't been updated since the Clinton administration. But hey, I'm not here for the ambiance – I'm here for the coffee.

Oh, the coffee. It was like they took all the leftover grounds from the past week, mixed them with some lukewarm water, and called it a day. I ordered a simple cappuccino, but what I got was a sad, flat cup of coffee with a few listless foam bubbles on top. It was like they'd never even heard of the concept of "microfoam."

But wait, it gets better! When I politely asked the barista if they could remake the drink, they rolled their eyes and muttered under their breath.

Needless to say, I will never be setting foot in this dump again. If you value your taste buds and your sanity, stay far, far away from Enso cafe. Trust me, your coffee-loving soul...

let me tell you about my recent experience at this incredible coffee shop! It was an absolute delight, and I can't wait to share the details with you!

From the moment I stepped into this charming coffee haven, I was greeted by the warmest and friendliest staff. They truly made me feel like a valued customer, going above and beyond to ensure my visit was memorable. Their dedication to providing exceptional service was evident in their genuine smiles and willingness to cater to my preferences. Coffee aroma alone had me hooked, and the rich, velvety texture of each sip was pure perfection. The ambiance of this cozy little spot is simply delightful. With comfortable seating options, soft lighting, and tasteful decor, it's the perfect place to unwind, catch up with friends, or simply enjoy a moment of solitude. The atmosphere is so inviting, it's almost impossible not to lose track of time while savoring your favorite coffee.

Let's not forget about the delectable pastries. The selection is impressive, and each item I tried was baked to perfection.

Lastly, I must commend the coffee shop on its commitment to sustainability.

In conclusion, this coffee shop is an absolute gem. With its friendly staff, exceptional coffee, inviting ambiance, and...

My favorite café in Park Slope. Everything is truly exceptional here: from the shaken coffees/matchas to the delicious pastries and hot foods (they serve blintzes!) and their collection of high quality teas. There's always the best oldies playing, and the pretty china and vintage decor also add to the cozy ambience. The owner and staff are warm and lovely.

Had some delicious Banana Gateau along with a large cold brew! It was so good and the service was great as he came over with a beautiful wooden tray and served me with very positive and good energy. The vibes were very relaxing with jazz and lovely coffee table books. The look of the cafe is just as beautiful! Definitely recommend if you in park slope!

This is a very cute and cozy spot. It is quite small inside, fits about 8 people and 2 employees. The decor is nice and the music and atmosphere is good. I got a mocha latte and it was delicious. The dine-in mugs are quite large and pretty. I would definitely stop by again. They also are pet friendly, I saw they had a jar of dog treats.
