Wouldn’t change a thing. I love how unassuming this place is and how they play 90s R&B throwbacks inside 😅 such a vibe. This place is super informal and casual and typically not very busy around dinner time in my experience. Four stars on atmosphere because I like that it’s chill - a nice getaway from the city streets and the music is on point. By no means is it energetic and popping. It really depends on your mood and what you’re looking for with this.

Must get: sesame pancake sandwich. It’s such a good value and quite filling. I have been going with the tofu and vegetable option.

I have also tried the sour and spicy cucumbers and they surprised me - was a nice side.

Kimchi side is also great! Not very fishy which I loved and the apple slices gave sweeter notes in it.

Soooo good! So I got the grapefruit bubble tea with strawberry bubbles and the frozen spinach and mushroom wontons. The bubble tea was amazing! So refreshing, earthy from the tea but also tangy which I love. Even my picky mom loved it! I accidentally grabbed the wrong wontons I meant to pick up the shrimp and chicken, initially I was super disappointed when I realized but decided to give them a try and although they take a bit of getting used to to cook, they were super good and made me mostly forget the disappointment I had in myself when seeing I picked up the wrong bag. My advice is double check the bag because they have different flavors printed and it’s checked to which one is actually in the bag. The staff were friendly, they packaged my food nicely, restaurant was clean, all workers wore masks and service was fast It was so good I think I might go...

I really like this place a lot. The food is delicious. I often get the duck sandwich and passion fruit bubble tea. So tasty. The one thing that I could offer in terms of constructive feedback is this: I think it would be good to have a higher standard for customer service. When I walked in to pick up my order today, I stood at the counter for a while before the two servers who were sitting on the other side (looking into their smart phones) asked me if I wanted any help. Having worked in places like Vanessa‘s in the past, I know it is very important to be on the lookout for customers as soon as they walk in the door. Then say hello and welcome them. Be invested in giving good service and the business will flourish.
