Vienna Coffee House — Restaurant in New York

In this coffee shop they showed me extreme disrespect as a customer standing first in line with a small child in a stroller! I talked to the barista (a girl with a short haircut) and chose the coffee I wanted to order. A man came up from behind and shouted behind me: “Can I pay for two cappuccinos!” The barista girl replied, “yes you can, come to me and pay.” I had to stand aside and wait for the barista to prepare two cappuccinos and give this order to a man who was in a hurry to get to work! Firstly, the impudence of this man is off the charts, he was not embarrassed that he was second in line, that in front of him was a buyer with a stroller and a small child! He paid with the words: “I’m late for work.” Secondly, the barista girl simply ignored me and the fact that we were communicating with her and I wanted to place an order. NO ONE!!!, neither the man nor the barista of this coffee shop, asked me if I could let this man through since he was in a hurry to go to work!? When the man received his order, he was in no hurry to go to work (he was very late!!!) he slowly sat down at the table and began to leisurely drink his coffee and chat with his companion?! The story didn’t end there, the barista gave me the wrong price for coffee at the cash register, I pointed out to her the mistake she had made, she gave me the difference in cash, and still didn’t count correctly, she charged me for a large coffee (16oz), but gave me a glass of coffee (12oz), well, I would have spent this mistake on a couple of dollars, but the fact that they simply don’t respect me and don’t value me as a buyer is too...

One of the greatest coffee places in the area.  I highly recommend coming in for breakfast coffee and croissant and/or your lunch.

COFFEE You can find any type of coffee here, and it is far tastier than any commercial space in the area. They have all types of milk, and they serve hot / ice / with ice cream coffee. They also have a very nice selection of tea, all organic and all types of tastes

FOOD You can find here the freshest croissants ever. I am big on coffee & a croissant breakfast, and coming to Viena - you will not be disappointed. They set up a special delivery for their bakery.   During lunch they serve the tastiest croissants with lox or pastrami. That's a must try!They have a big selection of different desserts, everything is super fresh and day-to-day delivered. Finally, they also have my favorite macarons, you never can go wrong with those.

AMBIENCE and SERVICE The place is new & very nice. Everything is immaculately clean and shining. You can easily come with your laptop and work for a few hours enjoying your breakfast or lunch. They have very comfortable chairs and it is pretty quiet. They have very lovely people working in the coffee shop, they will not bother you; and if you need anything from them they will help you out. Lastly, the owner of the place are so welcoming and warm to their customers. You see that they put so much effort into this coffee house.

In general, if you live in the area, it is one of the places to choose! You certainly will enjoy their drinks and food, plus the atmosphere is great to work for...

Deceptive pricing: the large menu board inside this very new coffee shop states 6.95 for a large Vienna Coffee Special, at the register that same coffee is 8.95 (this is before tax). When I mention this to the cashier/barista, she said "I don't know this is what is in the register". I tried a Smaller size that says 5.95 however when cashier puts it in it says 7.95, again $2 more than the menu. The cashier says the same thing "oh well this is what is stated in the register". Why advertise one price and then it rings up as $2 higher at the register? This coffee shop is new so it's not like they have old prices up.

The coffee shop is very nice inside. However the tricks with the prices is disappointing and I decided not to buy anything. So I can't say what coffee...
