Went to this place once before and loved the atmosphere and feel of the space. As someone who's been in the industry for a while,I was looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately, the second visit left much to be desired. I don't know if there's been a change in management but the space is definitely not being maintained the way it was and whatever standards they had in the beginning are not the ones they have now. The bar top was dirty and it appeared that it had not been wiped down in ages. The space smelled like spoiled citrus and the drinks were far from impressive. I wasn't by myself and both my drink and my company's tasted the same though two separate items. The bartenders seemed uninterested in anything beyond the conversation they were carrying with one of the patrons and this is not what you expect when coming into a space that was once solely interested in your satisfaction. Hopefully they get their act together because the space is worth preserving and deserves respect from true bartenders who care about...
Read moreI live close to Weather Up and like to pop in here by myself sometimes to read my book and enjoy good cocktails. I popped in on a rainy Saturday and was able to grab a table. They have a cocktail menu of around 10 drinks but can also make any cocktail you like. Their bar staff are always great mixologists and everything I have had here has always been good.

My partner joined me after this and we had a couple of happy hour daiquiris and margaritas, which were also good, so definitely felt pretty buzzed when we left (the pours here are generous).
If you are in the neighborhood and looking for a spot for a great cocktail then make sure to...
Read moreBorn and raised NYâer, I am a young black woman who was raised in Brooklyn and has been living in Prospect Heights since I was in high school. I came to get a drink last night and was offered a table inside. Another couple came after me and was offered and given my table without any prior explanation. They didnât have a reservation and was as confused as I was. When I inquired why, I was told by the host I was an âincomplete partyââŚyet I came to have a drink by myself. Even after realizing his mistake, he still gave the table to the couple that came after me and told me I can sit at the bar. I declined.
So, congratulations to this place for contributing to the neighborhood turning into a complete yuppie village. Weâve been dealing with pretentious businesses treating the locals like pests and itâs really gotten...
