Weissabi Sushi — Restaurant in New York

1st time ordering from here since our usual place seems to have permanently closed. The food here was AMAZING!! Spider roll was delicious and their croquettes were so surprisingly good. I also like that they offer cooked rolls since not all people (like myself) enjoy raw fish. Plus their customer service was impeccable. They actually called me twice to question items I ordered, which was very nice since most places do not take the time to do that. I think we found our new sushi place. Will definitely order...

Very good service. They left out a roll and sent the delivery guy back with it. Plus we misunderstood one of the rolls didn't come with rice and he sent us a replacement roll for it with rice.

Really good rolls/dishes: Kani salad, crispy tuna, special roll topped with seared salmon with tomato (has a really good smoky flavor), Sunshine roll (has lemon which gives it a good citrus flavor).

Very odd tasting sushi. Definitely fresh and nicely packed, but I didn’t like neither the texture nor taste of the food. Even my kids , who are obsessed with sushi so much that they are occasionally ok with supermarket quality rolls, didn’t finish their food night.
