I visited this Wendy’s recently and had a truly frustrating experience. Upon entering, I was immediately told that dogs weren’t allowed, without even being asked if my dog was a service dog—despite Wendy’s policy allowing service dogs. The manager then instructed the cashier not to take my order because I had a dog.
At that point, I had to walk all the way back to my car, leave my dog there, and return to try placing my order again. When I finally managed to do so using a coupon for a free chicken sandwich, it wasn’t included in my order. Then, the manager re-entered the conversation and claimed it wasn’t included because I “didn’t specify” I wanted it—even though the coupon was literally for a free chicken sandwich.
As I was standing there placing my order, I overheard the manager yelling and cursing at everyone about the situation, despite the fact that I had been polite and respectful the entire time. After all of that, I had to request a refund, having wasted 30 minutes of my time for absolutely nothing.
This Wendy’s seriously needs to be examined because the manager is running this place horribly. I have no idea how this location has so many stars on Google Reviews. Based on my experience, the service is unprofessional, the management is beyond rude, and the entire visit was a disaster. I won’t be coming back, and I’d strongly advise others to avoid...
Read moreWent there for lunch this afternoon and went through the drive thru. It took at least 12 minutes for us to get to the window because the line was so backed up. When we finally did get to the window it took another 8minutes to get our food and our order was wrong. When I told them that I was missing extra lettuce as well, they gave me the lettuce in a container. We pulled into the parking lot to eat and as I was adding the extra lettuce to my wrap I noticed a long brown hair in the lettuce. I felt so disgusted and immediately took the lettuce inside and told the manager. Since the manager refused to give his name and was not wearing a tag, I'll describe him as short, chubby, and Spanish with a bald head. He was very rude when I showed him the hair and he kept trying to tell me that It could not have came from his crew because they were wearing hair nets. I looked at his crew and saw that their nets were half on their heads and that a lot of them had hairs sticking out at the bottom of their hats. We stood waiting at the front of the line for 20 minutes while the employees, Destiny, Desiree, and Manager Terrill ignored us inquiring on why no one is taking our order. We were told by Desiree “we’re short staff” mind you there were only 4 customers on the line waiting while they catered to the drive thru and Uber eats orders and there were over 12 employees there. We then went to Destiny after she told Desiree “take their order so they can stop complaining” This was very frustrating and Destiny continued to talk under her breath as we were inquiring. Finally after requesting to speak to the manager, we got assisted by Manager Natasha that was very understanding and willing to assist. She gave us the names of the 3 employees and also the corporate number for us to contact them as well. She even wanted to take our order personally but after that experience we no longer trusted having our order taken.
