White Castle — Restaurant in New York

I would give it a zero star if I could or minus. The wait was horrible, considering that it was 2 AM and OMG, one would think the service should be speedy because they were serving only the window at the time. Unfortunately, we had to travel that late, due to an urgency, but of course, kids dont care what time it is to speak out their cravings or tummy growling of hunger. So right before we went on to the George Washington Bridge, my little one tells me she is very hungry, and so the White Castle was right before we made that turn on to the bridge in the Bronx and then to the Palisades to go back home. Well, I took my chances to make a "quick stop" by White Castle Drive Through, there were only 4 cars in front of us, so one would estimate an average of 15 minutes the most to wait, not a 40 minutes to an hour wait! 2 people left the line upset, without food and so there was only 2 cars in front of me. Well, with my child holding her tummy out of hunger, I was in a mission to wait for a burger. But OMG... In the future, this will be the last place I would ever consider to stop again for bite. I think it would have been better to Google an open restaurant at the moment that was open 24 hours or a pharmacy and purchase some quick stuff at this time of hour, rather than go through the unbelievable wait at the WC again. Never again people. When we got by the window, there were plenty of people working inside to serve 5 cars without making them wait an hour. That is not considering how long the other people were waiting before me. They didn't even apologize...

White Castle is best experienced completely drunk, or constipated, and most of my early adult life was spent by that rule of thumb. A move to Texas and ten years of vegetarianism cut me off from the late night ten sack before passing out, but with the veggie slider I cautiously came back. Veggie siders are fine substitutes for the ten sack when you're wasted, because everything tastes good at that point, and honestly, they aren't BAD. But alas, White Castle has done the impossible.. literally. The new impossible slider is heaven sent, all plant based and dare I say, tastes even better than a beef slider, and the patty is larger, to boot. Cooked on the dedicated veggie grill, these are what dreams are made of. You don't even need ten. 3 or 4 will stuff you, and they're always fresh and hot. This PARTICULAR White Castle in the Bronx was prompt, courteous, and knew what they were doing, although I did opt to walk in because some castles are still a little unsure on the whole veggie concept. Besides, what's better than the retro...

I usually go in person to this local White Castle Nd usually get okay service however tonight I noticed they were on grubhub so instead of taking the walk I decided to order online. WORST mistake I made . I placed an order at 7:23pm it is now 9:41pm and I never received my good . I contacted the establishment at 8:30pm and spoke to a Felix who answered and told me “ the driver just picked up your order “ 45 mintues later still no food . I then contacted grubhub Who placed me on hold and then informed me “ the driver is currently in the Washington heights area” I literally live 5 mintues away from White Castle !!!! I called White Castle back and spoke to the head manager “ Harra who was so rude and inattentive to my complaint . I spent more then an hour in the phone between grub hub and White Castle and guess what - STILL NO FOOD . I will never order from here again . The lack of customer service , the way they handle their business is completely...
