This isn't my first time here but it was maybe the worst, at least service wise. We understood that it was a bit busy when my table and I walked in so we weren't annoyed or anything by the wait. We ordered our food and were surprised that we got our appetizer and entrees at once, no big deal, but we quickly realized we didn't have any napkins whatsoever. Or utensils. That was an issue. The only thing we had was the small appetizer plates and our entrees in front of us. We tried to flag our server down but he either ignored us or disregarded us. I had to find us all napkins and a fellow customer had to point them out to me after I came up to the bar area TWICE for napkins. My boyfriend went to get us more water and even made eye contact with our server and still nothing. He never checked in on us to see if we needed anything, we assumed after one point that he gave us all our food at one time so he didn't have to come back to us. We didn't see him AT ALL after we got the food. We were there for maybe...2 hours? It seemed like all he did was float around to women's only tables or he'd be standing up at the bar to talk to women with a fellow coworker. Getting the bill was a whole thing too. He said he'd be right back and we see him talking to people for like 10 mins before coming back to us.
I love whiskey hideaway but that was just terrible service.
Great food though! The calamari was a little more fishy than usual but everything else...
Read moreAbsolutely, incorporating sports terminology can add a fun and thematic touch to the review. Let's give it a shot:
"Welcome to the arena of this sports bar, where our recent culinary match unfolded like a game with highs and lows. Stepping onto the field on a midweek evening, the atmosphere held the promise of a winning experience. Yet, our team of five found themselves facing a rival in the form of lackluster service.
As we huddled around the menu, the waiter's disappearing act left us with four playbooks instead of five, setting the stage for a series of fumbles. Requests for napkins turned into a game of endurance, as attempts to call a timeout were met with indifference. Even when napkins finally made their appearance, it felt like a last-minute substitution.
Despite the winning plays of chicken wings and more, the overall dining playbook suffered from a lack of attention. The plot thickened when we received an insufficient napkin supply, leaving us to wonder if it's a strategic move or simply an oversight.
In conclusion, this sports bar, though showcasing a tempting lineup, fumbles on the service front. Join us in giving a thumbs down for an experience that missed the goalpost.
Your thumbs up for this review not only acknowledges our play-by-play but also rallies fellow sports aficionados. Let's score one for awareness and make informed choices. Thanks for being part of the sportsmanship...
Read moreAbsolutely terrible customer service. I came here with my 12 friends to celebrate my 30th birthday. I spent as the birthday guy $130 on shots and drinks not including what my friends had spent. Everything was perfect until we ordered maple bacon wings and put it on a friends tab. We even had to verify and bring my friend to the bar and say it was indeed for him. After about a 45 min wait they bring out wings but it is the wrong flavor and my friend lets them know. They take back the wings and later about 15 mins bring out fries. I’m not sure where fries came from but they insisted this was our order. The bartender came out insanely nasty and insisted we ordered and said we were drunk and did order the fries. My question is why would we order fries and be served wings initially? I was extremely upset not that the order was wrong but the fact that the bartender was rude and nasty. After about 10 mins of the fries and I ordering my last drink and closing out the tab the same bartender approached my group and said if you are going to say something then say it to my face. Extremely unprofessional as a bartender and employee. The staff is extremely rude and condescending. 10 out of 10 would not recommend this business go to Tina’s whiskey tavern if you want a great vibe. Will not...
