I know this is the Bronx but let's face it, it is being gentrified and what does that mean? That the underprivileged, low income people will depleat little.by little leaving those who will spend money for your product. The lack of service is not going to go far. Don't forget there are many restaurants in the area and "El liberato' which employees more people are quick to take care of everyone that walks in the door. On top of the lack of service this place puts their food out and by 1PM the top of the food looks dry. That tells me the employees are not making sure the food looks fresh and inviting at all times.
Customers want fresh and they want to be serviced. If an employee is busy helping another customer, when that door opens , look up and acknowledge that you know someone walked in. Customers will wait patiently if you let them know you are aware they are there.
This place also needs a good system to serve clients. Not "who is next" next can be anyone because people are not paying attention at who came in behind them or who walked away to check out the food. It is not the clients job to know who was there first. I know who was there before I got there but I don't know who came in later and obviously neither does the server. Perhaps is they were paying attention they do. It have to asked who is next because they would know.
My question is...who runs this place ?
Just because you have money to build and pay overhead doesn't not mean your place is so awesome that people will be out the door waiting for service.
The way of the future....service and...

The price was excellent. Now the location not so excellent. I would recommend this place to the locals. Out of towner please know this is not a very " come hang out here in the bronx" type place.
