Wild Bagels — Restaurant in New York

These workers here have no respect for customers or local goers . They all sat there and laughed at me in there native tongue ! That I clearly understand and continued to call me names and other things just because I took a little longer than usual just order my food. because I ordered the Brooklyn boys and didn’t want the ham !The old man had an issue with that and had attitude and came back and asked me to order something else tell me the order something else and all I wanted was no ham. Even after the fact that they were still being ridiculous and unprofessional, I still waited for my sandwich. The sandwich came 15 min later and at the register they try to overcharge me and the menu says two dollars off for rolls and bagels . Then proceeds to yell ant me and told me that he already made it to come pay for it and I’m like I’m coming to pay. I’m letting you know that I can read English and you can’t but it’s two dollars off ! I have heard many wonderful things abiut this place. So I ordered through an food service app (grubhub). I'm still wondering what's so great!? I didn't think anyone could ever screw up bacon, egg & cheese on a bagel... until now! The app has a space for additional "notes" to which I added please lightly toast the bagel and add butter.

Food arrives ice cold. At first I chalked it up to the delivery because the person arrived on a motorized scooter. But when my coffee was hot as lava I had to rethink that thought. Means my burnt eggs were sitting on a dry (no butter), untoasted bagel at the shop. For the $1.50 extra I paid for cheese, I got barely 1 thin slice of cheddar, usually when the food is hot the cheese melts a little. The cheese was absolutely NOT heated at all, further confirmation to me, the burnt eggs were sitting a while before they added cold bacon/cheese. 2⭐️ is because they got my light n sweet coffee right and the other plain bagel I ordered was a decent quality bagel.

Ive been coming here for 15 years. I live down the block and honestly its not worth it anymore. The food is just "okay", some of the bagel options are flat as hell with a HUGE hole in the middle, and theyre charging things like we're in Manhattan. Manager has an attitude problem. I get things can get busy and theirs a bunch of stuff going on but there's no reason to lash out about it. Actual man-child behavior. When asked about the prices ($22.65 for two BE&C and a medium coffee mind you) he made a snarky comment saying theyre still the cheapest option around the area. 😂 Okay so now we're lying to people. Oddly defensive over a place as if it came out of their paycheck. Over the years sometimes my order would be wrong or get a badly burnt BE&C but I'd let it slide.
