Wasabi Sushi — Restaurant in New York

I went there with my family Wednesday night. There were many empty tables when we got in. Then we told the waiter that we have 4 adults, 3 children and 1 infant total, the waiter replied the long tables were booked. And then we asked how long do we need to wait. He said it would be a long wait and he asked if we can sit separately. We thought about it and we thought it would be ok, because some kids might want to sit together at a small table. How ever, right after we said yes, the waiter told us “sorry, the stroller can’t go in”. My baby was asleep in the stroller, and he should have seen it right after we went in the restaurant. How cruel it is to wake up an asleep baby or leave the baby and stroll outside! I finally realized that he doesn’t want us to eat in the restaurant. The reason is so obvious: we have too many kids. I usually do take away from this restaurant. Today is the first time I went there for lunch and the experience is so terrible. The ladies who are working there didn’t know how to treat with their customers. They need a proper training. I have to wait an about 15 minutes just to get the check. If they were giving the good service, I will left a good Tip. But for me , I will never gonna be go there for the dine in again. I will told to all of my friends not to go there either. The worst place and worst experience. The food otherwise is pretty good. No complaints about the food. Only that ladies who work as a server didn’t have any ethnic to treat...

When me and my wife asked for recommendations, waiter responded “the menu in front of you”. Then I asked twice whether they have a combo, so other waiter came and gave me another menu and left.

So we ordered a combo from the other menu that seemed to have some Philadelphia and Tempura. So finally we got a sushi combo for ~$90. So overpriced, we have 90% of rice, 5% of avocado, and some other weird stuff (like strawberries???). “Thanks” for such a “great” service. “Thanks” for literally pushing out my wife (yeah, waiter grabbed her shoulder, and pushed her out).
