This restaurant used to be called "Panorama" and before that, "Living Room". I enjoyed eating here for over 12 years with my wife, family and friends.
They reopened just 5 days ago as "Prestige" and last night I decided to take my close friend for her birthday. Like anyone else, I was skeptical trying out a new restaurant especially since my friend is very picky.
PROS: +I'm more than happy to say that we were both pleasantly satisfied with everything!!! From the food to the music, and from the service to the overall vibe.
+Maris (Maurice) was our server and he was very attentive, had great suggestions and checked on us often.
+We ordered the calamari, lobster bisque soup, ribeye steak, mashed potatoes, grilled asparagus and lobster ravioli. For dessert, we had the tiramisu and a couple cappuccinos. Delicious!
CONS: -$10 grilled asparagus and $10 for mashed potatoes is a bit much for sides IMO. Delectable, no doubt, but up there.
-The lobster bisque was incredibly delicious with generous chunks of real lobster, but the broth was very watery. Would be better if thicker.
-You can pass on the mango salad. Lacked taste completely, but the waiter did the right thing and removed it from the bill.
FINAL THOUGHTS: We ended with a complimentary limoncello. I'd rate our experience a solid 4.5, but because they removed the salad and were genuinely interested in our feedback, shows they are on a mission for success and to please their customer, so I will upgrade it to 5 Stars and happy to say I'll be returning with family/friends again when...
Read moreMy best friend wanted to celebrate her birthday at Prestige, so we came over to check it out.
The decor is pretty simple but I feel like it does a decent job of balancing the lounge and restaurant aspect. There are LED lights and a picturesque wall. We were on time for our reservation and when we came in we were greeted immediately and sat down.
There was a playlist (Hip- Hop & R&B) going on while we sat and we ordered the following:
Drinks: One Night Stand, Prestige Hurricane, Berry Basil Lemonade, & Berry Mojito Appetizer: Calamari Entrees: Linguini with Clams, Grilled Lamb Chops, Lobster Ravioli with Chicken & Penne All Vodka with chicken. Dessert: Birthday Cake
The calamari was fairly decent. To speak specifics, my order was the one-night stand, and the linguine with clams. What I can say is that everything was just fairly okay (including drinks). The drink was tasty, but just needed a bit more cognac. The linguine was fairly decent, with a great portion, the flavors just needed a little bit more umph! What did jump out at me was my friend’s Penne All Vodka! It was really good. The service was good and the music wasn’t too loud and we were all easily able to talk and catch up.
Between the 4 of us, the bill came up to $281.00. This included tax, a non-cash adjustment, and a 20% service charge.
I see Prestige being somewhere for a date night, birthday dinner, or a night out with friends! I’m interested to see how the nightlife is...
Read moreFound this place on TikTok and it had so much good reviews. I called earlier in the week and asked if I can make a reservation when I said for 3 people the lady on the phone said I didn’t need a reservation just walk in. When we got in they said we need a reservation despite the conversation with the lady on the phone. The lady had an attitude and sat us by the bar. The atmosphere did not look like it did on the pictures. Then we went by the bar we asked for French 75 they didn’t have it, then I asked for a side car with Dusse she said it already comes with cognac and then walked off. When we asked her for the food menu she was speaking with the other bartender not a pleasant welcoming behavior at all. We kindly got up and went to Living room where they was veryyyy amazing ! I would not spend a dime in here especially after reading the other bad reviews. And I have a really good following on tik tok I would be saying a much more on there . If you’re not gonna have good service then don’t run a business which is why it is was so empty in there. Let’s see how much longer the hype would...
