Zaki's Halal Food — Restaurant in New York

Went today to get two combos since my wife read good reviews. Came into the store, it’s clean. But food was such a disappointment. They skimped on the meat, barely any meat. THE RICE WAS SO MUSHY. I was so disappointed. Then we bit into the tomato and cucumbers and it was fishy and rotten. It gave us food poisoning. We were so excited to try this place. But Unfortunately it was not it. 40% of the food was rotten salad. Please use fresh ingredients and wash ur knifes for the salad cutting. Got a chicken Tikka over rice with extra meat and it was very tasty, easily some of the best halal food in the entire neighborhood. The chicken Tikka had a nice kick so I didn't even have to use the hot sauce. The price was okay, about standard for your standard halal platter post inflation but at least the quality was good. Only nitpick is that it would've been nice if they put the sauce on the food for you, rather than giving you cups on the side and making you do it yourself. Went there at night today, I ordered my meal and tried to pay with card, the 2 girls tried to put my card in the machine and then said that the card machine needs some power to recharge so they will charge me at the end when my meal is ready.

I wait around 15-20 minutes finally my food comes out and the girls tried to charge my card and then started saying the machine has been down all the day and asks me for cash, why did you make me wait 20 minutes if you know the machine wasn't working? Why did you lie to me telling me the machine just needs some power giving me some false hope?

Please hire some workers with at least some...
