Bar Right — Restaurant in Newark

I am writing to express my strong dissatisfaction with the service I received at your restaurant. My recent visit to your establishment was marred by blatant racism, which left me feeling deeply offended and discriminated against.

Upon arrival, a bald and unattractive white server impatiently told us to leave, stating that the restaurant was for paying customers only. Despite explaining that we were planning to order food, he was extremely rude and sarcastic towards us, treating us as if we were donot speak English, saying words like DO YOU UNDERSTAND..

Meanwhile, several white customers sitting nearby were not asked to leave or questioned about their lack of orders. Once we had placed our food order and were seated, the server returned and loudly told us to leave, using a very condescending and disrespectful tone. He spoke to us as if we were beggars and told us to go sit somewhere else in the airport.

When we asked why we couldn't stay, he claimed that we had not ordered drinks and were therefore not entitled to a seat. We then asked if we could order drinks and stay, but he ignored us and walked away, as if to say we didn't have the money to be there or to order from the menu.

Overall, this was a terrible experience that left me feeling humiliated and disrespected. As a customer, I expect to be treated with basic human decency, regardless of my ethnicity or background. I will not be returning to your restaurant and will be sure to warn others about the ignorant and discriminatory behavior of your bald donkey...

Flight delayed 9 hrs, most of the passengers waiting slept in cott in the terminal across they way and near this bar provided by United airline. At 3:45 am on 12/19/2022 a female bartender comes in to open and blasts the music at the bar to dispurse us. One gentleman asked for her to please turn it down and she said she was just doing her job. I'm sure no person in their right mind wants to hear blasting music at almost 4 am in an airport. She woke up at least 15 people suffering from sleep deprivation and sitting at the airport for 10 hrs at that point...Some guy working in the self serve next to it even asked her to turn the music down. I’m only giving 2 stars because of the wonderful bartender I had who said she is usually a server. I ordered a hot sandwich and fries and it took over an hour to come out and all was ice cold. I told the new bartender who came in for his night shift that I did not want the cold food. He said ok and did nothing about refunding me. Mind you I forgot I had already paid because everything is electronic and you order on a tablet and pay and your food comes out. When I said I no longer wanted the food he should have asked for my card to refund me. I later realized I still had the $30 charge and I never even touched the meal.
