I called and ordered for pick up and ordered drinks when I arrived. Food was ready, and the iced coffee was ready within five minutes, but then I sat and waited for my shake. 15 minutes went by where people came and went getting their orders, but still no milkshake. Was never asked by staff what I was waiting for, despite being the only one waiting consistently and at the end, the only one waiting AT ALL. Was forced to wait in the way of the trash bin and the counter with the sugars and everything, so constantly having to move out of the way of other people. Finally asked for it and got told that I HAD to ask for it to get it? Um….No? It should’ve been called just the same as my coffee was? Why would it be ANY different? I ordered it at the register so what’s the difference? By the time I got it, my milkshake was fairly liquidy. Staff was distracted by their phones, and one was wearing a see through shirt so you could see her bright red bra through it. Not really appropriate for a work environment. Didn’t appreciate the attitude and lack of help from staff when I was nothing but polite and courteous. Had ordered my fries well done for one of the two orders of food, and when I got home, they were the exact same as my boyfriend’s (he felt them himself and there was zero difference) - soggy/squishy and not at all crispy in any way. Had to throw them in the air fryer to make them crispy. The bbq grilled cheese were delicious, but the milkshake tasted more like coconut or just the tiniest hint of cinnamon as opposed to an actual churro milkshake, and was really small for an $8 drink. I could go to Wawa and get the same thing for $5 and double the size with more flavor. I was looking forward to trying the food here as I was gifted some gift cards and had planned to come back and spend my own money - if the experience had been good. I don’t generally leave reviews for places, and I’ve worked in many food places myself, but this whole experience left me frustrated, annoyed, disappointed, and feeling snubbed by the staff. I won’t be returning, and will be taking my business to the Hockessin location for all future orders, which is a shame as this location is only 5 minutes...
Read moreThe place was cute. I LOVE how they have a self service water station and an option to order through the QR code and you can sit down. It’s really friendly towards people who may have social anxiety or speech disabilities- or any kind of difficulty communicating to be honest. I love that.
The food was like a good 6.5 out of 10. I love how they butter the sourdough bread for you. Avocado was good (I don’t feel like you can mess up avocado lmao), bacon was AMAZING and not curly. I love the fact they use real syrup too. Not corn syrup one.
The eggs were decent. I like my eggs wet so I probably should’ve communicated I want wet eggs but they were fine! They weren’t burnt. I do wonder if they used an adobo mixture or something similar to it because I tasted that. I just prefer salt n pepper on my eggs tbh. So it was alright. The potatoes were good too but they lack seasoning which was the most confusing thing to me because you put a lot more seasoning than needed on eggs but not potato’s? lol. The French toast was alright. I love the fact they added powder sugar. It was pretty flat for French toast but it was good flavor wise. The hot chocolate was alright. Wasn’t chocolate-y enough for me. I LOOOVE the fact they made a cute lil design on top of it. The saltiness with the sweetness was a pleasant surprise.
Space wise, it was homey and so cute. I love how they have their own mixtures and desserts incase you wanna bring some home. The seats were comfortable honestly speaking. I have 0 complaints. The workers were so nice and looked so cool too. There was this one girl who was a server I’m assuming, they had made a mistake at cash wrap and I ended up telling her that my friend ordered waffles instead in the most polite manner and she responded “it was pancakes on the ticket. Do you wanna switch it?” Like.. the way she said it was like.. defensive and it’s like girl.. I work at Sephora. I get it. I said one thing and wasn’t even trying to give you a hard time 😭😭 relax girl. But yeah. Was...
Read moreDrip Café is a cozy, modern brunch spot that has become a local favorite for those seeking creative takes on breakfast and lunch classics. Tucked into a modest shopping center, the interior is warm and inviting, with rustic wooden accents and plenty of natural light. The café offers a seasonal, locally sourced menu that changes just enough to keep things fresh while maintaining crowd favorites. On my visit, I ordered the bacon-stuffed French toast—two thick slices of challah bread filled with crispy bacon and cream cheese, topped with maple syrup and powdered sugar. It was indulgent without being too sweet, and the bacon added just the right level of savory balance. My companion had the avocado toast with poached eggs, which was fresh, hearty, and full of color—beautifully plated with a touch of chili oil and pickled onions. The coffee was strong and smooth, and they offer a rotating selection of single-origin beans, which is a nice touch for coffee lovers. Service was efficient and friendly, with staff checking in just enough to ensure a smooth experience without hovering. Prices are on the mid-range side, but justified by the quality and presentation. Drip Café is the kind of place where you can meet a friend, grab a quick solo breakfast, or settle in with a laptop and a latte. It’s cozy, creative, and delicious—a reliable...
