One of the rudest experiences: I won two gift certificate at a charity raffle a few years back. One of them I used pretty quickly and the other one I tried to use just the other week. I called on a Sunday evening to find out if they accept gift certificates for deliveries and was shocked at how complex that question was and how I was treated. The person I spoke to advised me he'd have to ask his manager and then they proceeded to ask me if I had a paper gift card or one of the new electronic ones. Once I confirmed I had a paper certificate they advised me that they had switched over to the electronic ones and only accept that now. Once I let them know that the gift certificate actually says "Never Expires!" they had to call the next level up. Once they got her on the phone they proceeded to ask me if I had brown hair (which I do) and when I confirmed they said "my manager sais she remembers you and she advised me last time I was there that they wouldn't accept any more gift certificates after that time". I was stunned. I hadn't been there in over 2 years and never had such a conversation with anyone there (this was pre the electronic cards). For them to assume it was me because I have brown hair (I would assume half the population does) was outrageous and completely unprofessional. I couldn't believe they were acting like I was 'trying to get one up on them' on using a free pizza coupon from a Cystic Fibrosis charity event!?!?!?! At that point I told them how ridiculous and unprofessional this conversation was and that I was hanging up and never eating there again (which my husband won't mind since he never liked it to begin with). I went to UD and even had a friend that worked there in college, I can't believe that a long established business would treat customers like that....over...
Read more*I have come here a few times since this original review and in fairness am revising from 2 to 3 stars, (4.5 stars for service/other, 3 for food) . Although the Gluten free pizza crust is not nearly as good as it used to be(and I don’t actual know about the regular crust because I can’t eat it), the toppings are pretty good and overall gf pizza is better than many others around this area. Also, although I had one negative interaction with one employee, once, a while ago, every other time has been great. The people working here are always friendly and seem to care which I appreciate. Also, they always ask about allergy and change gloves and prepare properly which is very very important. So as long as they keep doing these things I will continue to happily visit. *
This place Used to be the best place in northern DE for Gluten Free pizza (after MOD left). But for some reason they just got rid of the GF crust and got a new one and it’s not good at all. It’s the same as every other pizza place now. Not only is it not good but it’s smaller too, don’t worry they charge you the same amount though (and if you question it you might get some snide remarks). So disappointed. I went here minimum 3 times a month, often more, but looks like I have no reason to come...
Read moreMy girlfriend introduced me to this place and it is wonderful. They have plenty of pre made recipes for you to choose from, or you can create your own concoction from the various toppings they have to choose from. Snap reminds me of Chipotle, but for pizza. You simply tell them what you want on your pie, and they send it through the oven and it's ready to go in less than five minutes. The employees are always extremely bubbly and great to talk to. We go here on an almost weekly basis, that's how much we love it. The pizzas are eleven inches, I believe, and are the perfect size for a personal to eat yourself, or to split with a friend if you're not feeling too hungry. I know they also have salads as well, but I typically go there for the pizza so I can't speak from experience on that part of their business. There are cookies and rolls and all kinds of other snacks available as well, and they even offer New Hope fountain drinks (my favorite). I highly recommend the hot little honey pizza if you go and feel overwhelmed by the many options they offer. Anyway, I guess this concludes my praise-rant about snap. Just go, you won't be disappointed as long as you're a fan of great pizza at an...
