This place is horrible my daughter went there last Saturday and a female punched her in her face while sitting at the bar. Security did absolutely nothing at all to help my daughter! Once my daughter was leaving two girls and multiple men started hitting her outside literally in front of the doors of Grottos. And still security did nothing. I called today and spoke with the manager name Keith and he literally made no sense at all. I asked him did he see the footage he said yes I seen when the girl punched your daughter. I said exactly so why the hell didn’t security didn’t do their job. His response was just silent like seriously Keith has no management experience what so ever …. So I called grottos corporate office the First Lady that answered claimed she could not hear me once I said I’m going to sue for lack of security she then hung up on me. I called again and a lady name Tracy answered and once again I told this lady that I was going to sue she started to huff and puff Tracy hung up on me also …. Called back tracy quickly transferred my call to Glen who works for the HR department and Glen didn’t care to take any incident report said he also had no knowledge of what happened on Saturday which Keith should have completed an incident report. The most frustrating issue is my daughter did not know who attacked her. Once she went outside grown men and women attacked her. Stay away from this place. I know this is an outing for young people but this is not a safe environment with so much security staff that do absolutely nothing. To the workers here, let’s see how you feel if your daughter is getting attacked with people just standing around...
Read moreHave been purchasing take out cocktails for all of COVID so far. Tried to order take out pizza and take out cocktails. I provided the staff with ID and had a DD present. After paying for my food and drink, a staff member informed me I would have to sit at the bar and consume my coctail. After a long and exhausting, I just wanted to relax at home with my pizza and my drink, but I cooperated with their request. I sat down at the bar I was horrified to see that there was no masks or social distancing among the patrons, even with the deadly delta virus circulating and no guarantee that patrons had been vaccinated. After a few minutes of anxiously sipping my cocktail alone at the bar while waiting for my DD to return with my phone, my former stalker entered the bar. At this point, I was alone and had already consumed some of the cocktail. I had no choice but to wait for my DD to arrive while my stalker sat across the bar from me. I don’t normally go to bars or even leave my house for fear of running into this person. I was absolutely terrified, and in hindsight, I should have asked someone to dial 911 immediately when the stalker entered the bar. This entire situation could have been avoided if the staff had allowed me to take my cocktail out, as they had been doing ever since the COVID pandemic had began, or informed me they did not have this option before I had paid for my...
Read moreTerrible experience this evening. My family of 6 sat outside with their dog. They ordered pizza and cokes and ordered a water for me. Having a special diet, I walked to Roots Kitchen and back. Sat down with my family. Was told by staff that I could not eat my Roots food nor could I bring my Roots bag in to their establishment. I have done this on numerous occasions with approval by their staff. I explained this and the fact that my family ordered pizza and cokes. However I put my food away. But it still wasnt satisfactory. They were very rude and unprofessional. We asked for our check so we could leave. They brought the pizza out and our check. We paid and walked out with our plastic cups with our paid cokes and i had my water. As we were leaving a staff member chased us outthe door telling us we were not allowed to take our drinks. We told them we paid for them but he said that we were not allowed to take to-go cups outside and grabbed my husbands coke out of his hand then grabbed my granddaughters coke out of her hand. When he came to take my water, it slipped from my hands and fell. The staff member then called us mf’ers. My husband went back inside and asked for a coke to go so we could see if there was a different cup used to go. They told him to leave and not come back. It was a bad experience we will never forget. And we will...
