I visited Drip Dessert House yesterday with my family, and it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance set the tone for a perfect evening. The decor is modern yet cozy, creating a welcoming and vibrant atmosphere that makes you want to stay and enjoy every moment. The positive vibes here are unmatched!

One of the standout features for me was the wide variety of desserts and smoothies on the menu. Drip Dessert House is an amazing new dessert shop in Newark which nails all three of food, service, and ambiance. And, they are constantly improving and responding to feedback.

The main premise is quite compelling. You pay a fixed price to choose a base (mini pancakes, deep disk cookie, etc.) and then get unlimited toppings & sauces (aka the "drip"). You're only limited by your imagination & sweet tooth here, though if you're indecisive then you can't go wrong with the recommended combos. Note that some toppings cost extra (like the fruit) but can be very worthwhile. I've loved the desserts I've tried so far and can't wait to experiment further.

Additionally, they offer an expanding selection of drinks, in case you prefer something sippable. I haven't tried them yet but they sound delicious.

The vibes are great, and though I've only been in the afternoon, I can see Drip Dessert House becoming a popular night hangout.

Finally, from both their social media presence and in-person interactions, I can tell all the staff love working there. It's evident in the customer service and the care in the final product.

I recently visited this restaurant because I was craving waffles and decided to order a Belgium waffle with strawberries. I sat next to the ordering counters and happened to see inside the kitchen. While preparing my order, the lady making my waffle accidentally dropped a strawberry on the floor. Accidents happen, and up to this point, everything was fine. However, instead of discarding it, she picked it up, chopped it, and put it on my waffle, which was then brought out. Before it was served, I went to the front desk and explained what I had seen and told him that I do not want this order because the strawberries fell on the floor before they were put on the waffle. The gentleman at the counter was very polite and apologetic. He quickly arranged for a new order and spoke to the staff member about it. I truly appreciated how he handled the situation.

Unfortunately, the lady who had made the first waffle was again handling my new order and kept staring at me until I left, which made me feel quite uncomfortable. It definitely made me raise questions about the hygiene of this place. I hope the staff will be careful In the future and will pay...
