Round Table Pizza — Restaurant in Newark

Never write reviews, but had to! Ordered a X-Large pepperoni with extra cheese! Got home opened up the box to a disappointment of a pizza especially for being a Round Table Pizza! It looked over cooked (burnt), half looked like it had no cheese and barely any pepperoni! Their pizzas are on the pricier side too! Now I used a coupon, I don’t know if that had anything to do with it, which it should not…that’s just bad business! I paid for extra cheese, I got what looked like light to no cheese! I don’t know if it was a pizza that didn’t get picked up and they just reheated it to get rid of which resulted in a burnt and dry pizza! What ever it is, it’s just bad business! Honestly to push that out to a customer! And how shady to give it to me like that knowing I’m picking it up and probably won’t check it! Damn I feel like I have to check what I’m taking home now! Sad! I don’t know if I can honestly just blame the workers bc I doubt they are going to try and be that skimpy, or petty (bc of coupon) and if they are like that then damn to that too! At least don’t give customers an old reheated pizza or even if it was accidentally over cooked, come on fix the situation!

After being a loyal customer for several years, I'm very disappointed at how they have been treating their customers lately. Messed up our orders a few times but today was our last time ordering from this location. We ordered online and pizza was supposed to be ready by 2:50pm, get there at 3:00pm and waited til 3:27pm and order was still not ready. Manager was no where to be found and the staff didn't care about our issue and said it will be out shortly. Waited a bit more and now the order was no where to be found. They said they will remake it and it will be another 30 -40 mins. How does a pizza order go missing all of a sudden? Turns out several other people were also missing their orders, or they weren't ready or the system deleted their orders. Called in again today to speak with a manager but manager is still missing. We spent 80 dollars on two pizzas and we were inside waiting for the food when my nephew put 50 cents in the machine to get a fake tattoo. The machine let him put the money in and the machine was totally empty! Needless to say they wouldn't give us 50 cent in order to let him use a different machine or a game. Seriously is 50 cents worth losing customers? Especially since we just spent 80 dollars. The lady at the register was rude. Just kept saying they used to do it. Then the rude older gentlemen was rude when we were getting our pizza. We ordered lrg twist which comes with ranch and he was trying not to give us the ranch. This is the worst experience!
