On Saturday 1/7/2023, I arrived to take 2 of my friends for a evening out for being so supportive at my time of bereavement. We sat down to eat and ordered several meals, we shared a bottle of wine and conversed. We were met ten minutes later by the waitress who took our order. While waiting the dj set up and played music which entertained us while we sat for 20 minutes waiting for our food. We were seated at a booth off to the side which was really meant for two people but we made due. Our food arrived and we ate, we had no complaints about the food as we devoured it. After the waitress arrived to clean up, we ordered wings and steamed broccoli as we sipped and enjoyed the music. The place was spacious and more than half the room was available. Before the wings could arrive, two employees came over to tell us that "our time was up". As we looked surprised, we inquired about the reason for us having to leave. He simply stated in his broken English (which appeared offensive), time to go no more stay. There are no words to describe the embarrassment, humiliation and disrespect we felt as we were escorted out of the establishment. Clearly we appeared to be guilty of something as there were plenty of empty seats and that could, should, or would not be the reason. Be advised that we were all professional government employees, well above 50 years of age. I want everyone to know that the "two hour limit" that was finally described to us, does not include that time you must wait in order to be seen by the waitress, the time it takes for your meal to be delivered and the amount of time it takes to consume it. They took our secondary order without informing us that our time was up. This source of service was very unprofessional and offensive. I would encourage everyone to be mindful of this incident and be aware of the treatment of how they tend to get away with it believing that it is acceptable. I will post this experience on each and every sight I can until it is no longer acceptable to treat paying...
Read moreI had the taste for a real seafood meal and not Red Lobster (nothing against the establishment, pound for pound they have the best garlic biscuits ever consumed. Nonetheless, I wanted some seafood within a 20-25 mile radius from my home. Normally, I frequent Flaming Crab in Easton, PA, who are awesome. But I did not feel like traveling an hour for a meal. Therefore, I ran across Red Crab through a Google search and then decided to give them a try. The deciding factors were reading some of the reviews and the fact that they had king-sized crab legs. When I arrived to place my order, it was an hour wait, so I decided to do takeout. Red Crab has a live DJ and the music was too loud, so loud that I had to shout my order to the staff. But, many of the patrons loved the volume; some were on the floor dancing up a storm, hands were in the air, and people were loving their meals based on appearances. Although the music was jamming, it could be lowered some, this is an eating establishment, not a club. Now, let's get to the food, I was pleasantly supervised with the meal. I ordered the 1lb of King Crab legs and shrimp boil bag with potatoes, broccoli, and corn. I also ordered the Cajun rice with shrimp that contained sizable shrimp. It is important to mention that, I will return; this food was very satisfying, especially when I did not want to drive to Easton, PA. So, in closing, I give the establishment a thumbs up. However, if you are bringing older family members while the DJ is spinning, they might become irritated...
