If you are considering working here, don’t. These employers are incompetent and will bully you rather than building you up constructively. I worked here for 3 weeks before I got fed up with the sexist comments from the boss, talking about things that are not work related that I will not get into detail. Rather than having a cut off time and starting to close at a reasonable time, they don’t let you leave until you are done setting everything up at night, even though you are not getting paid for the overtime. They do not give you a schedule and you never know what time you are leaving in advance. The pay day can sometimes be late when the boss decides to not be there, making it inconvenient for the people that are counting on the money for the weekend. The conditions are also not up to par, not once was I told to wash my hands. There are multiple instances of people finding hairs in the pizza. I quit this week and was not paid in full because I did not put my 2 weeks in, however I was never warned the boss would not pay me in full. It is not even about the amount of money that he kept from me, but the point that I worked the hours, I should have received the compensation. I understand the standard is to give a 2 weeks notice but they only follow the standard when it is convenient. Not to mention the general rule is if you take the customers order and prepare their food, the tip is yours but apparently that rule does not apply when the boss takes the order. Overall disorganized, unprofessional, and all over the place. The relationships with the coworkers were good and they were always friendly people to me but it is not worth the hassle of working there....
Read moreSo I placed a order with Village today and waited for my order close to a hour, had to call them twice. Upon my second call they decided to play musical chairs, handing my call over to 3 other people. Once I finally spoke to someone who seemed helpful, they contacted the delivery guy who in turn said he delivered the order and a woman accepted it. I immediately let them know where ever he delivered the food to was not the location I'm at, they apologized and prepared another order. Once the order arrives the delivery man asked for payment, I informed him I payed over the phone by card. I opened my banking app to show the payment transaction, even called Village on speaker phone to varify I paid. While trying to clear this situation up the driver left but now I'm facing another problem, the young lady on the phone says she doesn't see the payment. She becomes very indignant & aggressive saying I have to pay, after brief back & forth I request to speak with management. Now that I have the management on the phone we begin to have a intelligent dialog. He as well couldn't find my payment but I was able to send him proof of my transaction and the situation is settled. I don't know what happened today I've never had a issue with Village but one thing's for sure, who ever the young lady was on the phone but she was very crass and ignorant plus the delivery guy was a bit extra. I think they was trying to get me to pay that order the delivery guy gave away... SMH I'm going to put them on knock off for a while but the food...

WHAT OK NO PROBLEM I CALL BACK TALK TO THE NICE GIRL AGAIN AND ASK HER ABOUT THE OWNER. GAVE HER MY NUMBER OWNER WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL ME NEVER DID.
