Smashburger — Restaurant in Newark

I go here constantly to get away from NJIT. There is a tall/young manager there that always makes his presence known. He's always there and you can't miss his smile and charismatic voice.Can't remember his name but I do remember his costumer service. He provides the best costumer service (mind you there are no tips involved) I've ever seen. You can tell that he honors his job. I think corporate should look into this young man and see what they can do to promote him. He is too talented to just stay as a manager The food there is good and the place is always clean. I’m Re-reviewing this location for a 3rd time giving the store back 3 more stars because the female manager today was kind, polite & understanding why my order was messed up. She deserves a few stars because she noticed this is an ongoing issue with staff and student ordering on the mobile app. Please make sure to stress u don’t want any sauce or mayo. And if u do- it’s very Heavy. We Thank you!! 😊 **Side Note: the location being closed entirely on Saturdays & Sundays is definitely hurting the business. Shonique was rude. I asked if I could use a reward I obtained from the smashburger app, and she said no which is fine, but proceeds to tell me that the cheapest burger they have is the classic smash. Assuming a customer will not want other (more expensive) options when unable to use a reward is extremely rude. I then proceed to stand in an open space to which she calls me back and tell me that I am obstructing the way for the other employee to walk pass.
