Sol Deli Cafe — Restaurant in Newark

Updating my review from a 4 to a 2 for the following reason - I came to this deli today to buy a sandwich, which I do frequently, and saw a sign near the front register saying that if you go to their new website and order from there, you get a $5 discount. So of course I go to the website to order. Imagine my surprise when I saw that they have been overcharging me!!! The sandwich I usually get was listed on their website for $4.50, but they usually charge me like $7 in the store. This deli is convenient to me because I live close by but they are deceptive. Be careful if you order in the store, they overcharge you based on what I saw on their website. Such a shame. Also, there was an issue with the order I made on their website. The cashier could not find my order on her end, and had to call the owner for help. Luckily I had my confirmation email to show her so she made the sandwich. I just had to wait a bit. I also asked her why I have been charged a higher price than what is listed on their website in the past, and she...

I was there after 1 on Monday March 18th . Give her my Lottery ticket . Put it in, print out a ticket with the winnings. Folded the ticket and put it on her jeans pocket in my face. And .Them told me didn't win anything . argued with the girl to then have the nerve to tell me I never give her anything . Don't know her name she's young. I'll b calling the athorities and emigration....

Sandwich's taste was mid at best, but it is really awful for the amount that you get and the amount you have to pay for. I ordered the chicken tamales only to have 2 "pieces" of chicken with one of them just being bone. Straight up...
