Textile Lofts — Local services in Newark

Rent is way too high for what we get. If I’m paying more than 1700 a month for a studio apartment I feel like i should have parking included or something other than just roof access, which is only available for a portion of the day and it locks automatically after 10pm. No extra amenities, even free or cheaper laundry would be appreciated. Considering how faulty the internet was for about 3 months only having one month of it refunded wasn’t enough. Also theres been issues with smoking in the building for months and it had yet to be nipped in the bud, new signs and occasional email blasts dont seem to be enough. For the positive feed back, I’d like to have had more of a space to mingle with the neighbors or the ability to get to know the neighbors so some kind of bulletin board or some kind of board where we can put up events and/or mixers to get to know each other would be cool. It’s be nice to have the option. I appreciate having the super on call 24/7 that’s great. I also enjoy utilities being included such as water and heat and being able to pay for internet...

Textile Lofts is a great place to live. We have lived in other factory conversions and really love this one. The design is outstanding. We appreciate the manner in which all of the original brick and wood has been incorporated into the current building. The place is quite charming. We also love the size of the building and the enormous space we have in our apartment. We would also like to commend the people who work really hard to keep this going and note that without them this place would become just another money making venture for a corporate developer. Textile Lofts was a great place to live. Great location. Close to all forms of public transportation: 7 minute walk to Amtrak, NJ Transit, PATH, city buses; 10 minute drive to Newark Airport. Paul and Marcel took great care of the building and its tenants. Teizeen was great as a property manager and answered emails and calls in a timely and professional manner.
